As an european Professional Seller, i did 150k€ revenue alone this year so far (Just singles no Grade no Sealed articel) a lot of Magic the Gathering and some in Pokemon. But we have with Cardmarket the just better Market place in compare to TCG-Player. It does take 5% Fees thats all. Echo the comments that if you are getting a lot of 9’s it’s your pre-grading. Look on PSA’s website for their centering criteria and make sure you look at them under a lamp and angle the light, that’s really all you need. I’ve graded over 5k+ with PSA and usually am around 70%+ PSA 10 for modern English. Lots of conspiracies, but they are reasonably consistent. Some cards are also easier to grade than others.

Thats a lot of 9’s for a modern submission. I typically find with modern, if centering is good and no whitening, its ink smudges/ print lines on the surface that keep from getting a 10. Always check the cards under a bright light, or take a picture of the card with flash on, and inspect the photo for surface wear.

The one thing I would factor into your profit margin is the fact that most people pay raw price for 9's on modern cards. For example, the Raikou's raw market price is $20 which is what I would expect to sell it for in a 9.
