Don't be afraid to go full djent on the intro- even try just making the lowest note you can tolerate to fill the space. DUM- DJUUUUNNNNN- DJENT DJONT DJUNNNNNNN Try to go for a "horror movie monster reveal" kind of feeling. You want to make something that you genuinely feel threatened by and I understand it's hard to capture with sound alone. Don't be afraid of the chaotic feeling of syncopation. If I get myself set up properly I would love nothing more than to collaborate with you.
