Ever considered doing a metal guitar version of Lizst's _Totentanz_ ?

Never heard it before, just watched a vid of a pianist playing it. Basically, it would be next to impossible haha..

@@JesperEkstal I have tried to follow along that lesson, it really is super hard. I hope this question is not anoying. You seem to be very light handed player, playing so difficult chops you dig hard into the strings or you're applying only as much force as nessecery? And this brings me to ask, what string gauge and pick you use for your style?

@@infernaldeath1005 Yeah man it is super hard, it takes a lot of practice to get down. I use 9-42 gauge. I press as hard as needed only. I mean kind of a semi-light touch? I'm a leftie, so the fretting hand technique has always been a lil bit easier for me. I use dunlop jazz III XL picks. Get's you more tone for way less movement than a "regular" pick. (I use the regular purple dunlop pick in the close up in this video just to make it more visible) Play slooow, pay attention to how it sounds. If it sounds good and doesn't hurt, then you're good to go. Many fast players optimize technique and play so light to the point that the tone suffers, Never been a fan of that. If you're wondering about any specific lick/part or just anything else technique related, drop a comment, and I'll try to explain 😄
