Thank you for the how to video, trying to learn how to use this thing! 😊❤ The lock button is ridiculous! How the heck is it supposed to be a safety feature when you push the trigger to release it!??!! Agh!

I purchased a used one as the piece is a bit pricey, but the machine kzbin.infoUgkxG6fbm3cHBd7CNTjk5D-dwYe9c9tCB9ZN has surpassed my expectations. We sand small parts by hand often, sized around 1"x1/2," and specifically look for a piece that's designed to be vertical. The motor has plenty of torque and great speed settings. The only inconvenience I had is that the disk measures 5" where we trim 6" stick-and-sand disks down easily by mounting it then cutting with a box cutter.

What do you mean by floating it. You lift the whole thing up when you drag it back?

The Festool 6" sander costs $670 and only has a 3amp motor. Ridgid has a 4amp motor and is $129 right now.

This is the system Im going to try. I just ordered my dust deputy yesterday and stubbled on this video Im happy to see it works well. I have used the bags before but last time I had an issue with the bags popping. However the more I think about it my makita 7" grinder uses the smaller 1.25" hose so im thinking that it might be putting a bigger load on the vac. I really like the 2" hose on that dust shroud you have. Its hard to find one with a 2" port. Did you add some weather stripping on the metal can to seal it up better? You might have addressed that but I had to watch with no sound.

I restore concrete, whether it's staining, epoxy or overlays. So I definitely grind my fair share of concrete. The current dust collection systems I'm using are priced extremely high compared to what you showed & shared!! This is BRILLIANT!! No BRAINER...to know that I can use I decent sized shop vac and grind the concrete, while collecting the silica as you did. Thank You so much! God Bless

My concrete grind disk doesn't seem to sit completely flat. Or maybe I'm not putting enough pressure on it when I grind? Doesn't look like you are putting any pressure on yours at all in your video. I installed a 7 inch grinding disk for grinding concreate. The Disk is from Harbor Frieght.

What a freakin' MISERABLE job!!! 45 minutes and at least 3 dozen tries before I finally figured out how to get that last 2 inches to not slip off and go in place. This is another fine example of the old saying: "An engineer would jump over a dozen horny virgins to screw a technician." I hope there's a special place in hell for the guy who drew this mess up and decided not to put in some simple sliding adjustment like you have on most belted drives. This one is right up there with the oil pressure switch on the Cadillac Escalade I had to do. Appreciate the help, dude!! Good job!!

Ha! I've had this compressor for nearly 10 years and just finally broke the first original belt. Amazing it lasted this long. Thanks for this video... while the picture quality wasn't the greatest, you verbally explained the procedure perfectly. Got the new belt on after about 3 attempts LOL... it is a bitch. Wondered why the screw head on the connecting rod faces away from the back of the crankshaft... it would be so much easier to access if it faced front. But thanks for the video!

Just mist the floor with water and you don't need any of that equipment. Just the grinder.
@brendonnettnin88263 жыл бұрын
And then with certain applications you cannot apply your products to the floor. I use a 32" grinder with industrial vacuums as we use products that cannot have high moisture levels in the floor. It would have to dry out for days.

I’m a Milwaukee guy and trying to find the correct Milwaukee dust shroud to fit my grinder was a pain in the A##. Ended up purchasing the Dewalt grinder and the Dewalt dust shroud. Works fantastic. Definitely and highly recommend it. Plus the Dewalt dust shroud fits the grinder perfectly. Usually your local drywall distributor should carry it. Thanks for the video.

The grinder came with the dust cover? I’ve never seen that where did you get it from? We usually like using the Makita 7” grinders because they are the toughest we’ve seen so far and last long. They are 15 amps vs this I think is like 13 amps but I saw a bigger 7” Dewalt that’s 15 amps at Lowe’s.
