No Dusty No ZZ Its disgraceful whats going on now. Pathetic money grab .
@CrueLoaf4 күн бұрын
@@buzzedalldrink9131 I originally thought that. But his replacement was his mate and tech. He already stood in for Dusty and has Dusty’s blessing. I think he fits in perfectly now.

Saw them in 1975 Fandango tour. The whole “gotta mellow down” thing and all the tres hombres album. Saw them a couple more times up into mid 1980s. Yeah… those really rock in ass hits were straight forward power pop greatness. Tush, Sharp dressed man and many others. Weird, too, how they just blew off all that pretty boy and disco stuff. Blew off all that new wave and punk stuff and carved out a long bearded power trio. Completely different and in their own category. A lot of fun and timeless memories.

@@donaldsalkovick396 not lip synching cos some of the notes are out, especially Dusty’s vocals. And he screams, ‘pressure…”. That’s an ad lib.

Great performance, but they are using a backtracking for Gimme all your loving (only song I listened to). Nothing bad about that, but this isn't the pure sound of a 3-piece band playing live

I was 15 years old. My mom came home drunk around 10:30 and passed out, in her room. I took her car keys, started the car and "Sharp Dressed Man" was just starting on the radio. I sped off jamming on ZZ - Top. I trurned the corner and punched it. I spun around on the ice and snow before crashing into a tree. I bent the fender and the hood. I was so scared. I drove home and acted like nothing happen. The next day, my asked "What happen to my car?" I said "I don't know, you drove it home." hahaha She never brought it up again. I later bought "Eliminator" and have thought about that incident every time I hear this tune. hahaha

Uh, I should have seen them live back in the day. I don't know why so many bands today play to track or full-on lip synch today, it's pretty exciting to see a band play live, warts n' all. Thanks for posting!

there is a sequencer used here hence Frank's headphones. And perhaps a few recorded layers ... but who cares? Its sounds amazing and its a top performance.
