It's fantastic to hear this again, and see the Hippodrome video. Saw the band a few times around 1988/89 at a guess. Marquee Club, Hippodrome, and I'm sure we went to a pub in Walthamstow called the Royal Standard too. Great memories

Blimey! Half a lifetime ago. The demo we sent to Ray Zell. After a week, Guy and I decided to visit Kerrang! offices to see him, totally clueless about how anything worked. It was his day off, but he came in, took us down the pub and interviewed us. He also designed our logo for free; a lovely man x.

I was trying to find my cassette last night after mum told me the news. It must be up in the loft somewhere. Dan was my neighbour and I remember sitting in on one of Marks first rehearsals behind Union Street Music. Saw them at the Marquee too. My mate bought Marks Kramer. Lovely guitar that was. RIP Dan Cohen

This second demo is with Mark Adams on lead guitar. It all sounds better than I remember.

I think I bought one of the demos at a gig you did in Brixton. I was walking around with a Plaster of Paris human skull that some random bloke gave me on the train! I didn’t even want it. And it’s pretty hard to discretely off-load something like that. I think gave it to the band or the venue in the end.
