First and foremost there is a large spectrum and acumen for the abrahamic root. There are proto-gods before the current formation of the one that is spoken in here. Which means that the current one has changed or is completely a different one than the god of the old testament. Yhwh came from a phanteon of other gods and was a war god. He is not this "nice" one that is spoken of in the new testament. He/It is a narcissistic tyrant. Pretty much the same thing as Allah. But Islam at the very least is not lying, as you can see they are quite apt at mirroring it's angst. Wallah khinzir. Now again Allah and Yhwh can be two different ones that hold similar dominions. Lucifer on the other hand is not Satan. Lucifer is another name for Venus and a Babylonian king. It was mentioned once and it was a mistake made through translation of the bible from hebrew to greek. So as in pop culture and pathetically for these extremely devout abrahamists they don't know that this nemesis Angel of Light didn't exist until they didn't start thinking him up (thoughts are energy as much as these "higher" beings are energy) The reasons why atheists don't get "attacked" spiritually is because they don't open themselves to influence. There is a reason why we need to come to "god" first. It is because we are real estate and we say yes or no. This Salvation that you are feeling is just an effect, and you have lost something far more important. Your souls. You see they are all soul eaters, they can have the most beautiful, graceful smiles or wicked grins. It's all the same in the end. And there are far more "gods" then just this "one" that around 57% of worldwide population has given their souls to because they are weak willed cowards.

The main problem I see with this logic is that people think God has an obligation to fulfill their idea of what God should be. Does God not have the authority to do as he pleases? Who is to say God is unjust?

Any moral argument made without God is meaningless. So when you say, that's bad without God you have no basis. We have free will. I know Sam doesn't believe this. Sin and misfortune isn't from God it's a result of the fall of man and the sin of Adam and Eve. So many misconceptions.

How could I take a leap of faith for a religion that eternally separates my neighbor? I have met great people that were never christan. I reject paradise if it means they can't come with me. Hinduism is so so much more tolerant because hell is on earth and inevitably everyone gets saved from it. Makes so much more sense and is so much more peaceful.

*Jesus the Prince of Thieves* "Psychological Lending" Firstly, I'm not a psychological bank so someone can pray it off at church. Trying to pray off debt in a psychological toilet doesn't pay that debt, it only makes your mind a twisted psychology. Using debt to induce labor because it makes sense on a global economic scale, or hiding the truth only makes you like Jesus. You're paying Simon for crimes committed to Paul. Debt is no life but to them it is the very essence of their thievery. The church is nothing but a psychological lending scam running an army of criminals that "absolve you" from sins. I'm not a psychological bank. Lending is what drives the economy. It is what drives life itself, therefore ambition is a form of guilt as is any success. Pay up!

Humans have an inherent need to understand, eventually building a foundation. These “answers” are passed along through generations, ever increasing their convictions. The need to be “correct” permeates every aspect of life, for if we are “wrong” we will perish. I grew up going to church, but I could never honestly believe its stories. I have been moved in certain sermons but when it is brought back to an old book, I just can’t buy it, even slightly. Part of me is happy for those who have religion to improve their lives, I think that is the overall goal. The problem becomes when its validity is insisted as absolute truth. There is only one truth. Now we must defend our truth, to the death..because we are beyond confident, we know what god wants. No, you do not.

If Christians could only see the true horror of the cross, the symbol of their religion, and the violence it has inspired. This is a Jewish young child's first impression of the cross with a bloodied man hanging from it: Horror and fear. You have to be indoctrinated from the cradle to assimilate an instrument of Roman torture and excruciating death as anything positive. Surely not as "love". A "loving" father does this to a son? The " salvation" myth created to cover up the brutality of it all was built on condemnation and terror. Humankind was pronounced evil and in need of dogmatic faith. Judaism abolished human sacrifice. Abraham was told not to sacrifice his child. The Prophets condemned the offering of babies to Moloch. But Christianity, as Harris says, is a cult based on human sacrifice, a frightful regression into a dark pagan past.

I'm a christian and this was a very interesting video. He def didn't demolish Christianity lol my faith remains the same. I do outreach on campus pretty regularly and he did quite a few things that many atheists do when it comes to talking about this stuff, nothing he said was shocking or new to me. You can dismantle most of his points and find many areas where he was simply incorrect about his statements or failed to understand what the Bible is really saying. He also made two claims about the Bible that show he reads it Literally (which many atheists I've encountered and even Christians seem to do this) which is REALLY dangerous and an incorrect way to interpret the Bible which shows he ignored the historical and cultural context of the passages. I don't want to start an argument but I think all christians should watch this and really think about what theyre doing.

I have a problem with the fact, that god had also preordained, all of this suffering, from the beginning. He had also predestined, those who would make it to heaven and those who would not. That means for some people, if they failed the hellish circumstances, aka tests, that god has preordained, for their lives, they will go to hell. While others with easier lives, also predestined, will go to heaven. We need to understand, that everything, that we go through in life, god knew it all from the beginning. In other words, if you, god, gave me a test that you also knew from the beginning, that I would also failed that test (the test of life, where despite the sufferings, I must still choose you, god, in order to pass that test), then some people are saying, no, I will not choose you, after all that you have put me through). Was it all that necessary?. Then give me a f--k--g "F", I want out. If I can't trust you, god, at your word, then what is there to believe in?. Don't blame me for being disappointed, in you, god. Just don't, it's your fault. Send me to hell. Note: My relationship, with god, is like a marriage. Don't throw shit at me, all of the time and then think, that I am also going to stick around. For what?.
@solarsthetic404713 күн бұрын
God doesn't know what your gonna choose that's why you have that freedom to choose. You will not be given a test you can't pass as God is a fair and just God, if that were not so you would've never had the chance to even have an opinion. Try to consider that your conclusions are wrong and that blaming the creator is pointless, wrong, and only creates a big wall of separation between you and god.

I was a worshipping Christian, but I had to draw the line, with God. I cannot understand, why he has created the animals to suffer, in such a cruel way. And also children, as well. When children suffer, the bible says, that they are paying, for the sins of their parents and ancestors, which god, has visited upon them. He regarded those children, as his enemies, just as he had also regarded their parents, as his enemies, when they had sinned, against him. A promise that god had made to carry out, for a thousand generations. I still can't handle that one. Anyways, I fell out with this god, when I saw that his promises, were not evident in my life. So I said to myself, in order for me to worship this god, he has to deliver. And I am not going to wait forever, either, for some heaven, while I am suffering hell on earth. And even that I can stand, but don't let me see you, god, being kinder to my enemies, than you are to me. Then I stop worshipping you, forever.

Regardless if you believe in God or not, the questions and arguments presented in this video are not only true, but put christianity in a very bad position. It doesn't mean you gotta abandon your faith, but reconsidering things is always important. This is the most powerful video i have ever seen that calls out christianity. I believe and respect Jesus, his message and figure. But I DO NOT believe most of what the bible says, christian religion says and claims nor believe in the sadistic, genocidal god from the Old Testament, which is only the god of the Jews, not the God for humankind, which Jesus did preach.
