So, after the second year when they flower, then if left, the seeds will drop, will there be flowers the following spring, from those seeds dropping in the fall or just a plant? Or, will it take another entire season , the following spring to get flowers from the seeds that self sowed? Thank you 🌷

No mention of pre-soaking the seeds in water for about 24hrs prior to putting them in compost.

Do the seeds have to be planted in compost or can you also use garden soil?

I have in years gone past tried to get a lot of fruits but somehow I reckon that my cutting out the side-shoots was did wrongly ? I used a LOT of time each year and it left me feeling so down as my crop was never ever any good, unlike all the video's shown online Please HELP !

Try Table salt! Slugs would never walk over it!

Just what I thought. Best thing to get rid of slugs is Table salt. Salt kills them. I've tried pics vapour rub and seems to work. Slugs are cold things and lurk in the garden.

I want to "can" a bunch of Brussel sprouts with peppers and onions to make yummy little poppers out of them. I'm adding them to my garden next year and ill have about 300 growing. I have a lot of gardens hehe. I never ate them till now and i love them. I've always liked cabbage and since these were related i gave them a shot.

I'll give this method of germination a try. None of my seeds germinated last year :( Apparently you need fresh seed every year. Thanks for sharing your ideas, I love your soil btw :)

This is an invasive species in many countries. Make sure you are allowed to grow them first unless you want to pay for sanitation.

Mine survive as long as the temperature is above freezing and also not warm. For peace of mind you can mist spray the roots once a month - but too much water will cause rot.
