OL is probably the worst get less money than DL… you face DL & LB freaks. You depend on the others on the OL so a bad teammate ruin your work. In a team you usually lack fame compared to others. You judge by perfection 95% perfect can be worse OL. You do silent counts & if you jump offsides as you look forward you get blame. Ok so there you go also physically you have to be big but also agile more agile than freak DL monsters.

You cannot have a trash OLine. One weak link disrupts the entire cohesiveness of that unit. You could have a less than stellar DLine. But as long as you have one stud on your line, he can cause havoc. Requiring an extra assignment that can create opportunities for others.

I can afford to buy everything I need to watch all games but I pirate because it's simple and in one place. But as soon as you mentioned the specialization thing, I swear I probably hadn't switched thought that way as I have in over a week. Urlacher > Kuechley Urlacher was Kuechley before Kuechley. They played the same position in the same exact TAMPA 2 defensive scheme. Urlacher was every bit as powerful and mobile except Urlacher did so at 6'4"/260 and Kuechley was 6'3"/230

interior defensive lineman are very underrated because they dont get a lot of sacks, or even tackles, but they demand attention and double teams and will ruin your game if you dont give them extra attention

D-line can be very good at run defense linebackers can get a lot of credit for that but if you have a trash d-line they can run the ball right at you and there’s nothing the linebackers can do

O-line is more important as a unit, but an individual stud D-lineman is more impactful than an individual stud O-lineman.
