Bryce was an obvious bust by the middle of last season. He's too small, too slow, too weak.

It was plain to see. He should have been a third round pick at best. I like tall qbs, not sure why the panthers don’t. Look how easy Daniels makes the short throw look. Goff makes his money over the middle. AR sails a lot of throws, but he processes quickly enough, has the arm strength to easily make easy throws. Look at top prospect picks usually have commonality: stafford, Goff, cj , AR, Allen, Herbert. Big dudes, big arms, process well. Young is small and medium arm. He was thought of as an elite processor. Maybe he is, maybe he isn’t. But I think when the game is that difficult physically, even a smart guy can’t overcome it. There have been outliers like thiesman, tua, and breeze. But it was irresponsible to take that young man in the first round, let alone trade up…

The talent around Bryce in high school and in college. It made look he was good but Alabama quarterbacks don't do good in the NFL. Tua couldn't play in the cold weather. Facts

He was never that great in college. He can thank every 4/5 star on his side of the ball for making him look better than he was. We are seeing that Bama QBs are not that great. All because they have the best players around them.

Although I would like for teams to give rookie QBs two seasons plus to take over, I don’t believe that’s the issue here. Young is just slow and small. Add a terrible team, a coach who didn’t want him (prefers prototypical size QBs), and somehow accuracy concerns and he was bound to struggle. His confidence is shook too. All this equals bust.

He's got take t around him obviously but I see not a real change in the o Line I agree with alot of the comments here, but what he's never had is an O Line worth a damn like kyler Murray or other smaller QBs. As if he's a bust? I'm 60/40 yes on that. I'd just like to see him not constantly getting ate up before he even has a chance to scramble. So yea I buy into being a bust fir now till I see what he can do with a line Look how Justin fields with my Steelers isnt a world changing QB but big difference from Chicago and I thought he was a bust, but it has only been two games but ibsee big differences Caleb Williams going through this same shit with the o line. There's a common theme here where these guys are and fields was. One simple reason is he's 5'10" and he's trying to look over offensive linemen who are 6'4"-6'6. I (5'5" struggle to see over people who are 6'). I can't imagine trying to do that in a game situation.
