Have you guys tried the big reds ( European nigthcrawlers ) look online for a worm breader close to you and buy half a pound of them , they very easy to maintain at home you can learn how on KZbin , wen the rainbows are sick and tired of seeing spawn bags ,the big reds are king bait ,they just love them plus you save a ton of money on worms and will have unlimited supply always available

Very nice fish that’s definitely a wall hanger about 14 to 15 pounds that is definitely a fish of a lifetime but I know state record was over 38 inches in length weighing at about 21 and some change. Do you guys definitely did a wonderful job landing that fish and it’s really nice to know that you guys released it so that somebody else can catch it one day keep up the good work guys tight lines

@richardpichola891Ай бұрын
sorry guys there was nothing special to see here. maybe if you didn't make the headline read "state record" I could just like it and move on. you make fisherpersons look like politicians. as was said, stop raping their gills, buy a Boga grip and save the fish and eventually you. One day a big fish gonna take your finger, twist and you will break their gills and jaw. Maybe your finger too. BTW the state record is 38 inches and 21.3 pounds. 😌
@davidbarclay4968Ай бұрын
Firstly great day congrats. Only constructive criticism I care to provide is the handing of the released fish. Keep your fingers out of the gills and cradle the fish in your hand behind the pec fins. It’s better for the fish and keeps people from being brutal on line about fish handling. 👍🏻

What river
@peresieoutdoorsАй бұрын
Sorry I can’t give the exact river but it was a Lake Erie tributary.
@mikemanofleisure21 күн бұрын
Check a map. Every river and most larger streams that flow into Lake Erie will hold steelhead in the early spring and fall. Even with ice cover they will be there. False spawn runs. Don’t let metro areas scare you off there are plenty of fish in these areas but you won’t be alone.
