Ali was not in his prime in the 60"s. Holmes is not in Ali`s class. Not to far behind but not like Ali from 64-67. And yes Ali lost his best years and was out for over 3 years.

Holmes was way overrated. He couldn’t even beat weak Michael Spinks. Mike Tyson at 5’10” with a very short 69” reach knocked Holmes out! Holmes was VERY lucky to have fought during the overweight, undertrained and overrated era of the 70’s-80’s. 70’s were Very overrated. Musclebound era Not good for boxing

The 3 most overrated heavyweights of all time are Wlad and Vitaly Klitschko and Rocky Marciano. Marciano was great with great heart and work ethic. Tiger Ted Lowry really beat him in 1st fight. May be even should have stopped him. So much so that even the media wondered if it was a dive 1. Louis 1A, Ali 1B. 2. Sonny Liston. 3. Larry Holmes. 4. George Foreman. 5. Prime Mike Tyson. Ali had several questionable decisions may be even gifts to be called the greatest. Doug Jones, Ken Norton may be lost the 2nd fight, but clearly won 1st and 3rd. Ali got gifts vs. Jimmy Young and Earnie Shavers. 2nd fight vs. Frazier easily could have been a draw or even a win for Frazier.

He pulled out cause he couldn't make weight 100%! I bet he wasn't even close to the weight limit. His team knew how severe the Japan boxing commission is when it comes to fighters missing weight especially at the world level. He didn't want to risk getting banned fighting there again. So they made up that fever story so they could use it in case he really couldn't make weight or atleast get very close to the weight limit. He started his career at bantamweight 7 years ago then 1 year later moved down to super fly and fought there ever since. Martinez is 33 years old now. I bet he is been struggling to make weight for some time now. Just my opinion.

Sasaki's fearless and will fight anyone. See people are PATHETIC. If a fighter calls out a 'supposed' better fighter, people be saying, 'oh better not go there, you'd get F'd up". But if they DONT fight the 'supposed' better fighter, 'you're a duck' Which one is it?! In my opinion Ennis would beat Sasaki quite handily, but we'd never know for sure until they actualy fight. Give the man a chance, that's a fight I'd absolutely love to see!

Hmmm. He just happens to pull out the same day the weigh-in was supposed to be. I want to see a note from a Japanese doctor. What a buzzkill. I'll still go to the fight but I paid 55,000 yen for the Puma/Ioka fight and while I'm interested in Tsutsumi this would have been a $25 fight at Korakuen. All I can say is that this fuck Goodman better show up for his fight against Inoue or this trip would be a total waste for me. It's like BT going to Japan for the postponed Fulton/Inoue fight. A big disappointment & a bunch of money down the drain.
