One of the top 20 players of all time and criminally underrated. Now at nearly 500/1300 while missing a lot of time in his career due to injuries/covid shortened season etc. Also never played with elite linemates. Feels more like a 600-700 goal player to me. Lets hope he can reach 600.

Watching datsyuks highlights doesn't do him justice whatsoever. If u watched every single game he did something special every damn shift. Every shift on the ice he did something that made u do a double take and say wtf just happened?" Was there a glitch in the matrix? No....pavel datsyukien deke happened! It was actually very common! P.s and to listen to mike emrick call the stanley cup games with datsyuk the stars aligned perfectly! Miss mike emrick. Never gonna be another!

April of 2024 and this washed up group of underachievers is still together. They're still too old. They're still too all-over-the-place. They're still pushing and competing. I'm starting to wonder what they could do if they got in and it made me think of the intro to this video.

MagicMan scored or set up so many Goals going in one on two or three........but my favorite thing he ever did was show up Shea Weber on the Nashville Predators, after Weber caught him and bounced Pavel down. Pavel got up, retrieved the puck, laid the trap......and Lit Weber UP.....all on the same shift. Thats takin' care of Hockey Business Right there....and Weber was no Slouch. MagicMan...once in a Generation Hockey Prodigy!

I'm a big pens fan. I have been watching sid his whole career in the NHL. I never realized just how amazing his awareness is and was. You can't say he was passing the puck without looking between his legs and got lucky that many times to find an open teammate to create a scoring opportunity. The hate for this guy was serious and I get it. Shit, imagine him playing for Washington with ovi. Or the red wings? I would hate him too. I am sad he seems to have lost a little over the last few years. But he also doesn't have the same people he had back then as fellow pens.

There is no way in fkn hell back in his prime teams liked going against them it’s like they knew What shit is he gonna pull out tonight to embarrass us. I feel thats what they were all thinking 💀💀🤣🤣🤣. I mean were in 2024 and he just did 19 straight seasons no less than 20 goals. That’s literally fkn absurd. Especially how fast the game is today. This guy is made for hockey. And when its all set and done and hes passes 99. When u think goals in hockey this is the guy no one else maybe matthews cause he’s hella consistent too but matthews still needs to prove himself for longevity

did some research and discovered forty-three of Ovi's goals were scored in overtime - overtime wasn't. available in Gretzky's days.

Damn that 2016 game 7 will always hurt cause it would've been back to back finals and they prolly would've won against in 2016 if they were the ones to have went against the Sharks instead of the pens. I know they came 1 win short in 2018 but idc about that cause I am a caps fan and 2018 was a dream come true for them but 2016 surely hurt. And Kucherov prolly would've been the conn smythe winner instead of crosby since he led the bolts in goals and points

Top 3 greatest players ever - Gretzky, Lemieux, Crosby, period. Would be so interesting to see Crosby play in the Gretzky era of hockey or to see Gretzky in his prime playing today to truly know who is the greatest but I'll still give it to Wayne. We already know Lemieux could play in the modern game.
