Nathan MacKinnon 2020-2021 Highlights

Despite dealing with injuries, Nathan MacKinnon continued his dominance and proved once again why he is one of the very best players in the world. Putting up 65 points in just 48 games, he had the fourth best points-per-game average in the NHL this season.

One thing a lot of people that dont watch Oilers games dont know: McDavid usually has 2 players shadowing him, always at least 1. This obviously helps create more room for his teammates, but even with 2 shadows, he still outscores the rest of the league by a lot. If the refs were impartial, Connor would easily draw 5 penalties per game.

He is on a team that allows him to raise his game to the next level. If he had entire strategys schemed against shutting him down (like McDavid does) with no depth to help him out it would be a different story. Love Mackinnon though, easily the 2nd best player in the league.
