Should be spinning the other way so the work and the grinder spin into each other. But looks good. If you use it to grind yourself more shafts the runout will be less. Great work!

Esta muy mal la soldadura. Si es acero de bajo carbono para q calentar? 7018 duro pero aún mecamizable. Y luego lo dejas enfriar al aire con la costra de exedendte q se hace. Listo amigo.

There should be light interference fit on the arbor with the bearings and sliding fit in the housing. Or maybe you made it lose so you can change the spindles for ext or int grinding... Anyway your spindle is going to wobble in the bearing, not sure what precision you can accomplish
@kvechannel
@kvechannel 2 ай бұрын
Yes, is no interference fit because i want to change the the spindle shaft. Maybe later i make other types of shafts. I think this is the easiest solution to make an changeable but lowest runout spindle grinder. The OD of the shaft diameter (bearing seat) is around 0,03 mm or 0.0012 inches under bearing ID witch is exactly 17 mm. This is a little bit too loose but i can feel a very little or no play. Is ok for now, is easy to change but other time i make it a bit tighter.
@JETHO321
@JETHO321 Ай бұрын
@@kvechannel You can tighten it up some by knurling the shaft where the bearing sits and then polishing it to a closer fit. Get to a .0002 or so clearance and it'll be fine.

It’s better to drill 2 con rod bolts, then cut a piece of big end bearing, then mate both parts with bolts and drill a final rod pin bore.
