Great video. I think the Pulsar had the best overall image the Hik 4k whited out a lot and seemed to have a lot of noise in the image. Thanks for the comparisons

Looks like the Alpex 4k and Pulsar fare the best, the Alpex being a lot cheaper. Would you rather recommend the Alpex than the Pulsar?

Thank you for the great comparison.👋👋👌 I have the Hikmikro Lynx LH25 2.0, but I know that a video does not achieve the same sharpness as when you look through it. Therefore, the "live image" of the FQ35 and FQ50 must be must be enormous.😮

What’s wrong with the Pulsar Telos?! It looks horrible. It’s not even in the same league as the other three from this comparison.

It's actually significantly better. You have to compare the whites of the target to the whites of other objects in the scene. Whichever has the most contrast wins. The telos will show you a target next to a tree trunk for example. The others it would blend in. Don't be fooled by the apparent detail... contrasty images might look pleasing, but it's a sign of a bad software and bad thermal sensitivity.

@@billyyoung1630 - details = contrast. Look at grass and other vegetation here. Telos has much less details than the others, which is a sign of a poorer and quite frankly a ridiculously overpriced unit.

The telos has way more adjustments than what is being represented here. You can make the picture more detailed and contrasty. But why would you? You want the deer to not compare to any other warm targets in the scene. I don't need to ID the grass, so low contrast removes the details there and makes it less distracting, improving detection in tougher environments. Any device would work in an open field like this.

Which one for bird spotting? I think maybe a model with a wider view and shorter minimum focus distance? Mainly for use with lots of trees.

great comparison. The new Affo R+ is quite something and almost makes the other Affo's obsolete considering the price of the others. If you really want to step up you'll have to get the X-eye it seems.

Affo AP 13 best more detailed than the hikmicro 15 , the hikmicro too dark and more expensive but not a lot in it too be fair, the cheapest and quality of image is the affo AP 13

Thanks that’s a great comparison in real-time, Hikmicro seem to have it. My budget says the 10 but that cat would look great thru cross hairs of the 19! $$$$ just got to dodge the wife, maybe she will chuck in if I assure her it’s her security that’s being discussed.

You need to enable Smart IR in the menu options on the Alpex 4K, you will not get any over exposure then, I cannot understand regardless of settings how it is whiting out so much with bang average IR torches... Also colour mode, increase the contrast higher..

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I have figured out during post production that I forgot to turn on Smart IR function that is exactly against over exposure. So I decided to make a second test with the two Alpexes. I will complete that test soon.

Szia. Infiray Tube TH35 V2 és a Hikmicro Thunder TQ50 2.0 közt vacillálok. Az ár szinte hasonló De a képminőség a Hikmicro felé billen a tesztek alapján. Kár, hogy ennyire sötét az Infiray képe a videón. Néztem élőben akkor nem volt ennyire sötét. Sajnos a Hikmicrot még nem tudtam megnézni élőben.

Szia Jenő! A két megnevezett készülék között azért van némi különbség. A Hikmicro Thunder TQ50 2.0 legközelebbi megfelelője műszaki tartalom szerint az Infiray palettáján a Tube TH50 V2. Az Infiray Tube TH35 V2-nek a legközelebbi megfelelője a Hikmicro palettáján pedig a Hikmicro Thunder TQ35 2.0. Ha látni akarod a különbséget , akkor nézd meg mi a különbség a Hikmicro Falcon FQ35 és a Hikmicro Falcon FQ50 között ezen a videón: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4iTimSQoNejjtksi=f1_PD3GhR2vaUlBz Kifejezetten a képi információtartalomról beszélek, függetlenül attól, hogy egyiknek vagy másiknak sötétebb, vagy világosabb vagy kontrasztosabb-e a képe. Szerintem céltávcső felhasználásra a nagyobb fókusztávolságú optika jobb, mert jobban lehet helyezni a szálkeresztet a több képpontból álló sziluetten. Ugyanis ha összehasonlítjuk a gyártótól függetlenül a két műszaki tartalmat, az jön ki hogy az adott távolságon lévő céltárgy több pixelből áll az 50mm fókusztávolságú lencsénél, ha mindkettő készülék érzékelő pixelosztása azonos (ezeknél azonos: 12µm). Másképpen fogalmazva, ha digitális nagyítással a látott képet megegyező látószögre (nagyításra) hozzuk mindkét készüléken, az 50mm-es lencsénél a kép részletesebb lesz. Ilyen összehasonlításoknál jön jól, ha megnézzük mekkora a pixelfedés 100m-en, vagyis hogy egyetlen pixel 100m-es távolságon mekkora felületet takar. Minél kisebb ez az érték, annál részletesebb a kép. Remélem segítettem. Ha nem, hívj fel.

I have a Pulsar Axion XM30F and I use it only in the highest sensitivity gain mode. At lower levels, everything is more blurry. At this point I regret not buying another brand at a similar price.
