This is the kind of breakfast that gets you out of bed in the morning.

Any non-alcoholic substitutes available for mirin?

Looks delicious! I’ve been eating a lot more eggs recently, so I’m always looking for new things to try. That paprika/chili powder butter looks amazing - I can practically smell it coming through my screen! I was just thinking about whipping up an omelet , but a couple of fried eggs with runny yolks would make for a nice change. No potatoes in the house, though…

What's going on with the subscriber to view ratio? Content is short and looks amazing! At least the algorithm is working enough to bring a random like me here so hopefully your views go back up

I regularly use mustard. It helps the emulsification process. One teaspoon per egg. Also I only use egg yolk, pepper, salat, a little bit of white wine vinegar (not too much) and a bit of MSG. No water and no ice.

Who is going to cut potatoes that fine if they dont have one of those cutter gadgets.

Just use a grater, my friend. Save your sanity. It won't quite be the same texture, but it'll be close enough and it won't take eons to do.

Very nice recipe & looks delicious, reminds me of bird nest soup that most folks don't know what it is & it is not for some folks as they will think it is gross , but I like it. Folks can Google bird's nest soup to see What the product is & how to prepare .

I love eggs over potatoes done anyway!! I add thinly sliced avocado and grated sharp cheddar cheese.

Looks great! Do you not wash the potatoes before frying them?
@maxineb95985 күн бұрын
Probably wants the starch still on the potatoes for them to stick together.

Lately the video upload quality at 1080P is very grainy with jagged edges. Any chance you are filming in 4K?
@ByronTalbott5 күн бұрын
I am filming in 4k, upload in 1080, but I never have a grainy video playback. I'm more bothered by my little blip clip in the beginning that was snuck in....ugh. I'll keep an eye out for video quality if more people experience it on their ends.

Said this a few weeks back but every video has been like this for a while now. It's a really weird effect that I'm not seeing anywhere else and don't really know how to describe.

Uneven feet are due to uneven piping. Not piping at 90 degree angle.

Just made it with some shortcuts :) That's so good! I didn't have fresh basil, so I used canned pesto. And I ran out of milk and cream, so used potato broth :))) Actually, mash itself I didn't like much, but when it came together with the salad, salmon and crispy skin, it hold everything up together. Brilliant recipe, thank you chef! :)
