Miso cod is not made using cod. It's made with Sablefish, which is often called "Black Cod", a nickname given to it by fishermen who thought it looked like a black cod. Completely different species. Completely different flavor and texture. Completely different price. Sablefish is succulent, buttery, moist, and rich in flavor. Cod is bland, boring, and the texture is dry. Nobu, who made the dish famous, is having a heart attack right now with you not making that distinction. As a chef, I would think you'd know the difference.

Please make clear that the ice-cream base needs to be cooled BEDORE it's placed in the freezer. Placing straight into the freeer hot is not a good idea for the freezer or any other food already in there. Other than that.... thanks!

Check out the time stamp 1:30-1:40 and make sure you have the volume up. I’m very clear about cooling the ice cream base to just above freezing before it’s churned. Hope this helps

👍👍recipe's great! But I made double and now have too much 😂 into the fridge goes the dough. Rolling technique and not having them burn on the stainless steel skillet? A learning curve I have before me

Yum! Can u sub cake flour with bread or AP?
@ByronTalbott4 күн бұрын
I’d recommend cake flour for this, it I didn’t have any on hand at the time. Cake flour allows you some flexibility when mixing becuase it’s low in gluten

Hmmmmm, I don't usually care for sweet flavors with meat. But I love Montreal Steak Seasoning from McCormick when I do steaks. I learned to let my steaks sit out on the counter for 30 minutes before I started working with them - Thank you, Food Network! This works! And here's how Rachael Ray chops herbs, and I do it too! Sound on - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIiziGZ7qNeWkMUfeature=shared And also look at Spice Goddess on KZbin - she teaches how to cook BEYOND salt and pepper!
