The only way to get a pet. You take the kids to the shelter and you make them work there unpaid for a while and see how they behave with animals and when you know they can be trusted with them (for the sake of the animal) you let them adopt one. Very smart parents.

I will never understand how a person could be cruel to any animal. Starving them near to death,chaining them up and walking away, not looking back. Look at Noem possibly Trumps pick for VP she took her gun and shot her dog what a great person to represent America. And then there are people like this young girl whose dad knew how much she would love that dog and her tears says it all. Thank God for them

I love how she pauses in silent surveyance, is hit with sudden realization, and thenceforth communicates solely in dog whimpers. She and Rambo are spirit-buds.

I agree, love for dogs will have you coming out of the house looking like anything...no shoes, hair not done, pj's on... Lord have mercy. And we won't care, ha!
