Yeaaaaah I don't know if I agree with that. It's 37.5mm. Not exactly a large case. Lug width is irrelevant seeing as it's an integrated bracelet. That said, this is one of the best wearing Bulovas to date. I'd suggest finding a store that has one on display. You just might change your mind.

For which watch. You can get the Pistachio for $212.50 from Trifecta Jewelers. That is definitely my favorite. I ordered the bracelet for it which was expensive.

I don't know where you're getting your figures from, but I can tell you first hand, that I haven't had to change the battery in any of the 5 Precisionist movements yet, and it's been about 18 months so far.

I think "no". Mainly for that reason: Seiko's spring drive does not have a battery.

@ 100pct. The Seiko spring drive movement is second to none and incredibly accurate. However, that Precisionist movement on the Bulova is amazing at that price point. Also extremely accurate

That's a good question, and one that's been discussed more than once. In the price range we collect at, it doesn't make sense to take out a policy on each watch individually and I've yet to find a company that will insure a collection as a whole.. personally I (Mike) have one of my watches insured and Joe has a few that could warrant individual policies, but as a whole, we roll the dice.

I have watches listed on our policy, but not the specifics. Since there’s a bit of migration in the collection, you’d need to amend it each time you buy or sell. But my insurance would cover the loss. Proving the cost however… depends on where you bought it I guess. eBay prices are easy enough to find, but that’s not current or replacement value. Nor investment in repair either

The issue with vintage dress watches is the size. Most are sub 35mm. Also will depend on what you consider vintage. 70’s is vintage now, (which means I am too, apparently), so quite a few dress pieces from the 70’s hit a larger size. Look for bezel less or thin bezel designs. lT makes them wear large. So a 36mm will look bigger.
