Never thought of having Tutorial Joe and Jane to be part of the Pleasantview. Really like the trailer! I prefer furnishing smaller spaces too because it is easier to look lived in than a large house.

In Ukraine we have are washing machines in the kitchen and in the bathroom, depending on the size of the rooms. And I think it’s better to be in the bathroom because all these soap chemicals can’t be near food

I agree so much about the Dreamer’s hair texture. I love watching your renovations and listening to you rambling because it gives me ideas. I also think that Cassandra feels a bit of pressure that her relationship needs to live up to her parent’s relationship, which is completely stupid but it is one of her neuroses.

Bandy could have the biggest room because here in America, our trailer homes have it set up, so the master bedroom is usually the only bedroom that has a lock on the door. Growing up, my parents took the bedroom that had a lock regardless of its size for obvious reasons lol plus she was sharing the room with her husband, so it's the only room that fits a double bed.

@nervosims that's surprising, majority of homes in the places I've lived have always had a lock for the master bedroom. I agree after skip passed & she found out she was pregnant with beau it would only make sense to give the boys the biggest room. I wonder if it also has something to do with the fact that it's the only room that can fit a double bed? She doesn't even have the crib in the room like most parents do in the early years of a child's life. I'd be worried Dustin could lock the door & be up to no good lol but she could easily switch doors so the big room no longer had a lock.

Awesome building, and I'm loving the whole story of your Pleasantview! Definitely, Cassy is not polyamory material. I never thought of her that way, as she's so possessive-clingy and naive for sure-but considering that her parents were together their whole lives without any other stories, so devoted to each other and yet able to maintain their own space despite everyone else, it makes a lot of sense that she would want the very same, a 'we start fresh, we have no past' kind of relationship with her partner. Only one small detail: she has been committed to Don; she already has a past. She’s not 'just starting,' and that reality might make her realize there’s no magical recipe for creating the perfect couple or the happy family she longs for. As for the age gap between Darren and Cassy, it’s almost the same (if not smaller) than that of Cassy’s parents! I don’t think it would be an issue-quite the opposite. She might even find herself more drawn to him, knowing he’s wiser and more mature (well, as if, haha). I think she would be haunted by Darlene’s ghost-I mean, metaphorically, xD. She’s quite unsure of herself; she lacks her mother’s power and drive, and she’s seen how other men prefer other women. So, I think she would obsess over Darlene and worry that Darren still loves her (or that he’d never be able to love Cassy as much as he loved Darlene). For Darren, though, it’s the opposite. He’s on cloud nine with her, finally achieving the dream he’s held onto for so long. He wouldn’t love her any less or do anything against her will. However, he might lose his ability to create great paintings! The beauty of his art comes from the tension of that platonic love-so what will he create if that love is reciprocated? Nothing extraordinary. He might just become a happy, mediocre man. Dirk, on the other hand, is ready to move on. He has a life ahead of him and would be better off taking some distance from his late mother and his not-so-mature father. He deserves a future-a career, friends, and some romantic relationships before settling down. I can see him and Lilith being good friends. She was there for him, helping him cope with his mother’s loss, but we all know that highschool sweethearts don't last over 25. xD

firstly, i love how long and detailed your comment is. i really appreciate that you've listened super intently to my mad ramblings and have your own inputs, thanks so much! secondly, cass is definitely a bit naive. i think for her she mostly wants a man who doesn't have a lot of baggage... forgetting that she probably has some herself. i also never considered the age gap thing! when u resurrect bella, she is at the start of her adulthood because of in-game stuff but she still is a bit younger than mortimer so that's something to consider. i do like the idea of her liking older men though, so i'll run with that for sure. idk if darren would fall out of love with art ever. he seems like someone who's secretly been creative and finally got that push to pursue it after losing something important to him. even if cass were to ask him to get a real job, i feel like he wouldn't; thus proving darlene's death really affected him a lot. oh yea high school sweethearts tend to never last. i always break them up and make them date around because that's way more realistic and engaging.

Damn the reno looks so good!! The time it takes to put down all the clutter is so worth it. Definitely a much more worthy broke trailer. Alsoooo I did not consider Brandi as a bad mom before but what you said about her bio and Skip's death makes some sense... You could take it a few ways. That's the beauty of some of the Sims 2.
