HL has Simple Passage stairs that allow 1-click stairs to work if you're determined to keep it 1-click

i did download them and it didn't work. i would've needed to add them to the foundation before shrinking the foundation (which i didn't). at some point, i'll fix the lot. but i'll just teleport sims in and out of the barn when needed

I would have sworn someone repo'd the buttresses to BB niches already but maybe it's difficult because of the mapping or something.

building in the sims 4 is better in a lot of ways, worse in a lot of others... Each game has build mode strengths, and there are omissions in TS4 that irk me. but I like playing to its strengths, leveraging things like platforms, eave controls, stacking windows, and all the other little things sims 4 does well. I just wish I could remove the darn walls on rooves so I could make attic rooms

u get it! it has its pros and cons. i love being able to copy rooms but omfg not being able to make an open staircase easily is infuriating! everything else about ts4 build mode is perfect! i'm super jealous of all the things that are in it, but ts2 does have a lot of things that are better too
