Is it safe to weld to 3 inch cups to the frame while the car have gas? Do I need to remove the gas tank to tack weld the cups?

Keep it Ford with twin I beams. There is a difference. I grew up around twin I beam rangers and they soak up the bumps with ease.

Want to do 2 inch lift on a 2011 LX.

It's a very similar process as the older chassis. The primary difference is that the steering shaft of the 2003+ needs to be extended roughly 50% of the body lift height. If this isn't done, we've seen it pull apart the lower section of the steering collum and lose steering. This is a MUST.

It’s essentially a 2wd truck with an almost 50/50 weight distribution. And most p71s come with a trac lok diff and decent rear end gears. Keep your 6cyl jeep and worthless rubber dashboard ducks.

Huge difference between the old 4.0 inline 6 and the current 3.6 v6 though, the old ones were pretty tough.

Bro didn't bother mentioning that a 2wd truck with 50:50 weight distribution is a recipe for being really really bad offroad
