Let it happen is the best album and I'll die on this hill.

My first band was basically an MxPx cover band. We had 1 original, and played 1 Slick Shoes song (my bike), but the rest was all MxPx. I still think Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo is one of the best complete albums ever. Not a dud on it, every song is great!

Move to Bremerton will always have a special place in my heart. In the 90's after graduating highschool I really didn't have plans for college so I joined the Navy and was stationed in Bremerton. A couple years passed and eventually I convinced my then girlfriend to "move to Bremerton" from Texas. We would often run into MXPX at the mall in Silverdale. Fast forward to 2025 and my then girlfriend is now my wife of many years. I get nostalgic every time I hear this song, it takes me back to that time. Glad to see the band still going strong. Just wanted to share my story.

Mike, you cut off my old hometown of "Tampa Bay" where I saw MxPx in the Broken Bones performance!... : 0 (I broke an arm at that venue before too, crowd surfing). & Mike, I was in a car accident today ~ I certainly hope it gets better! This 40yr old Jake was headbanging to this!

I remember 1995 being 14 years old sitting in the back seat of my friend's brother's car and he put the Teenage Politics album on. My life was forever changed. What was this sound? This style of music I had never heard before. I loved it so much. What proceeded was me sitting in my room for hours on end reading the lyrics while listening along to every album that released afterwards. These songs were with me through all of the ups and downs of my teenage years and into my 20s, and I held onto them so closely. Still my favorite band to see live, and here I am now in my 40s and still checking in on this band who I will always love. These live shows are so awesome and bring that live experience to home whenever I want, and just make me feel so happy. MXPX, thanks for everything. You guys rock.
