Those old programs and mags are so neat. I didn't realize the numbers the Dodgers staff put up during the 1963 WS. Fantastic job.

Now you virtually never see less than that in a single game. Kind of a different game now. Koufax pitched until his arm fell off.

@@CleanCheapShots I don’t think those Bells are related, at least I’ve never seen anything to confirm either way. I’m not a modern card guy either, but if I come across cards of some of my favorite players (Ashburn, Griffey, Harper, Judge, etc.) or an older player for inexpensive, I’ll snag them. I didn't realize that the move to Milwaukee was so sudden. Pretty cool that you kept the program from that first game. Doesn't Wes Stock live in your area? I thought I heard that.

@@CleanCheapShots thx for watching. My understanding is they played as the Pilots in 1970, I think as a deal to sell was being worked out. They make it sound like the deal was being finalized as the 1970 season was ready to begin, so when the vans were loaded and ready to head north from AZ they were waiting to find out if they were going to Seattle or Milwaukee. There are pictures of a rookie Lou Piniella in 1970 in a Pilots uniform. Stock was from Western Washington so he probably does still live here. Not sure. He’s 90 now. All the best, Drew.

As a kid, I liked Jim Zorn. I have no idea why, but I enjoyed watching him. Like you pointed it out, he scrambled a lot. I think he reminded me of Fran Tarkenton for some reason and I was a Tarkenton guy. Great stuff Dave.

LOVE seeing a Seattle list. First off, thank your for appropriately saying and displaying Downtown Freddie Brown, it's frustrating that every single card says Fred Brown even though we didn't call him that. Zorn was underappreciated some but it seemed like Largent bailed him out some by always somehow getting to where that ball was landing no matter what. Bone will always have a special place in our hearts because we are so used to losing trades, and the fact that we won this one and it was to the detriment of the Yankees makes it even more sweet. Plus, he's just a fun, cool, guy who could freakin' mash the ball. I'm not going to tell you my Seattle list now because I'll just do a video too.

First year of the standardized size baseball cards. Loved the Bob Feller. I have the Pete Reiser from that set. That set is neat to me because of what was going on in the world at the time that set came out. Fun owning a piece of history.

Hey! For any content creators or really smart people viewing this, I have a question. I created this episode on an iPhone, Mac and iMovie. When I watch this on my computer or my iPhone the sound is fine, but when I watch on my Samsung TV, the sound cuts out. Any of you watch on a TV and notice this? I don't hear the same thing on any other content creator's videos. Maybe it's my cheap clip-on Bluetooth microphone. I'm wondering about getting a slightly more expensive mike. Any thoughts or recommendations?

@@xavierwren0212 you are right. Much history in the story of each of those players. MLB is making some effort in trying to bring the Negro Leagues to light. They could probably do a lot more. I’m not sure they contribute to the NL Museum in KC, but if not, the museum could use a lot more funding. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting.
