RIP smite. sacrificed by Hirez because they couldnt handle working on smite 2 while keeping the pro scene alive and now the game is abysmally defunct, viewership is down bad and i stopped playing because everyone i ever played with rightfully gave up on it. seems weird to try and reinvent the brand when the golden age of MOBAs has passed and will never peak again, only to lose so many long term people from the scene. i've tried playing a few times the last few months but it's the same old song and dance with people dc'ing, trolling, and inting if people dont f6 at 10. such a shame! still the most visceral MOBA experience in the biz, and it was fun to learn about different gods. just happened to click on this page since i hadnt been here since worlds
