Is this move genuine, or another strategy towards further exploitation? I take some of these turnarounds with a pinch of salt. Turnarounds like these, raise the question, as to whether one had indeed been chosen and led of the Lord, right from the onset of ministry. For many are called but few chosen. Tithes were not intended as a source of funding for the Church period. Generosity, arising from good stewardship that had been initiated, nurtured and sustained by the Church is the way, which when genuinely facilitated, makes tithing a joke. Acts Chapter 4 and Matthew Chapter 25, provide a wealth of knowledge on this. In Acts, we find selfless leadership, using the resources of the church, to ensure there was no lack amongst the members. This is not the case today. Again in Matthew 25, we find a selfless master, nurturing stewardship, in delivering his goods to his servants. After which, the servants having become stewards, were given back the gains of their stewardship. What will this master need, that his stewards will not provide. Do we have such masters in ministry today? What is happening today, with manipulative tithing, firstfruits, seeds and offerings, is a big joke, in comparison with what things should be, in this era of the Church. The use of tithes and its imposition is man-made and the biggest hindrance to the funding of the work of the Kingdom, for the fulfillment of both the ministers and their members. The lack of this fulfillment is what is resulting in these questionable turnarounds. Getting back to the truth, is the only way to fulfillment in the Church. Anything else is just kicking against the pricks.

There is one thing I learned about 5 years ago from a Movie titled God is Not dead. The young man who took on the quest to prove the existence of God to his Lecturer made a statement and it Goes NONSENSE REMAINS NONSENSE EVEN IF SPOKEN BY THE GREATEST SCIENTIST No Man of God is greater than Scripture and his interpretation of scripture is not supreme to what scripture says. I listen to a lot of preachers but I am not glued to any one of them. I listen to the message and not the messenger. You stated that pastors should not preach that God will bless people if they give to His work or people, labeling it a gimmick for raising money for personal gain and ministry. However, I'd like to point out 2 Corinthians 8 and 9, where Paul encourages the Corinthians to give generously to support the persecuted saints in Jerusalem, just as the Macedonians (Philippians, Thessalonians, and Bereans) did. In 2 Corinthians 9:6, Paul essentially says, "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." Are you suggesting that Paul's approach is transactional or that he's using a gimmick to solicit funds? Why would Paul mislead the people? Why not simply encourage them to give out of love for God? Consider this: When the Philippians supported Paul, he promised them, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Personally, I prayed for increased income years ago, and God answered. When I asked for more, He instructed me to increase my offerings. Although challenging, I took a step of faith and obeyed. Consequently, God substantially increased my income. In conclusion, while God's promise to bless and increase us is not solely tied to giving, other factors like believing and serving are also essential.

Sir, if we don't preach that God will bless us if we give, we are not preaching the whole truth. Paul preached it! Jesus preached it!
