Thank you pastor Gideon, I really love your videos. But this particular one is debatable. I know a lot of grace believers who kept on being better and better and I know a lot of people “on the other side (have other beliefs)” who have backslidden.

This is word 🙏🏾. The only grace doctrine can get one confused & you may start doubting all the sound doctrine you have heard since😢 infancy. If only grace, what about love which is the greatest commandment of all, or it is not important cuz it is love that can make one deny themselves, that can make one endure which leads to a transformed life. It is only love that can make one sacrifice for others as Jesus did for us that we are able to partake in that Grace, so how come we have forgone that & focus on just grace. 1 Corinthians 13:1, If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

I used to be a "grace brother" and I was very good at expositing it. I'm still yet to meet someone who had listened to Joseph Prince more than I have lol. But it is a dangerous half-truth system of belief. It promises so much but in reality, it delivers very little. It does not prepare you for how incredibly stupid and sinful you can be when the circumstances to sin line up. It frees you in one area but unconsciously binding you as well. The gospel is indeed a gospel of grace but focusing on that alone isn't the answer and ultimately I think the reason why people fall for it is not only because it sounds so good but also because the Bible is not read. The Bible you know is the one that keeps getting quoted to you from the grace preachers. Even if you do read the Bible, cz I read through the New Testament twice as a "grace brother", you do so with heavily tinted glasses, having the uncanny ability to either ignore the scriptures that disagree with your belief, masterfully explain it away or just assume that even if you can't figure out what it means your grace pastor would so there's no need to worry about the clear call to purity, holiness and the many many COMMANDMENTS we find even in the writings of our favorite "grace Apostle" Paul. That said, I'm not sure if Ps Gideon is preaching some version of Lordship salvation here. I don't subscribe to Lordship salvation but I'm not free grace again either. We have to live in a manner worthy of the gospel by which we have been called. Sanctification is a two-pronged as well. We are the sanctified who are being sanctified. It is a one-time past work that is also a continuous at the same time. So there is being made holy, ie set apart, as God's children. That is part of being saved. But then there is being holy, ie the living of a life worthy of the gospel.

sir this is deception, i mean the title of it. who are grace brethren? those who preach the gospel of Jesus that salvation is by grace and through faith and that Jesus paid it all? please those who preach salvation by grace through faith do not preach that there is no satan, or that sin do not matter in our walk on earth. we teach that sin do not matter change your salvation, yet salvation is a love we live that is the life of the spirit we preach that we are save for good works but not saved by good works we preach that we receive the spirit by his grace and through our faith in his works and not our works and we preach that the spirit is given for pod work. sir why not why christians backslide?
