Hey Derrick! I wanted to pose a few questions for you regarding your mobile detailing setup. First off, just wanted to congratulate you on the cleanest/leanest build I have seen on KZbin. The way you saved cost and mitigated unnecessary equipment while utilizing all the space available was impressive. I am looking to build a similar setup using the chevy spark as well. My questions are as follows: 1. Are the wheels shift crank h20’s? From what I can see they come in 17/18 sizes. Is so, did you go with the 17s or the 18s? 2. Are you running spacers on your sparks wheels? I really like the aggressive stance which definitely turns heads I’m sure, which is very important to drive future business. 3. Did you need to modify suspension to accommodate larger wheels? 4. Do You also carry a ladder on the roof of your car for larger SUV’s? Thanks for all the videos they have been an inspiration.

Hey Austin yes the wheels are 18” Shift with spacers… I started off with coil lifters however the ride is too hard so I’m actually in the process of doing a suspension replacement for more comfort. I don’t carry a ladder (as I figured out ways to make cleaning the much easier and simple)… I only carry with me what I use often and for the most part what I’m using for the day. I don’t overload the unit as that’s not what it’s made for. Once you get into a rhythm and flow you’ll know exactly what to bring along for the day. I don’t even carry a gas can. I know my pressure washer and generator so I pay attention to how many vehicles I’ve completed. It all comes down to paying attention to what you’ve done as you navigate through your days in this little Power House. I hope that this has been helpful to you.!

@@thedopestdetailer9693 thanks for the info! If I went with the 17 inch version do you think I could get away with the stock suspension setup?
@thedopestdetailer9693
@thedopestdetailer9693 9 ай бұрын
The wheels aren’t the issue when it comes to the suspension. It’ll all come down to you tank size and the amount of water you carry.

@thedopestdetailer9693
@thedopestdetailer9693 9 ай бұрын
Hello I can’t give you a price to charge as all situations aren’t the same. Pricing structures are different based on where your working at (what state and city) and obviously the condition of the vehicle your working on. There’s not one set standard price for this.

There’s so much money being left on the table due to folks thinking that “washing cars” is a demeaning thing😂😂😂😂 I promise you your business will feed you well when you keep it simple… offer the washes and upsell the service for a full detail later on…. The Wash is the appetizer lol

This is good, savvy business advice. I looked it up and $50/hr is 78% more than the median hourly wage in the US as of 11/23. So you're making more than almost ALL non-professionals no matter what they do. Not bad for washing cars...just sayin' . Keep bringin' the 🔥 Derrick!

@thedopestdetailer9693

They’re so many different type of pressure washers that’ll work well with you set up. I’d probably suggest a Krazel since it’s small and doesn’t take up much space.
