I'm glad the authorities are flexible enough to allow this.

All nice in their own right but the clash between the piano and string harmonies only works because of the difference in attack forms and tone colour with the resulting difficulty of the ear establishing correspondencies. Octave strings, mainly, would have worked better, or, leave the strings alone and simplify the later piano part, which would have the advantage of relieving the repetetiveness.
