Ma'am I have a doubt. I got married in Netherlands this year in January with my Dutch partner. That time I submitted my birth certificate and single status certificate with apostille stamp . Now I have applied for my MVV visa and waiting for the approval. So when I go to Netherlands and apply for BSN number . That time can I submit the same birth certificate with apostille stamp? What is the validity of apostille stamp?

Hi Hema Apostille stamp is permanent depending on what kind of the document was issued and apostilled. For example Birth Certificate has no expiry date that’s one time certificate and will never be re issued because we were born once while singleness is NO because status can change you can be single now and married later like you are now got married in January. Hi Liez, I have a question for obtaining mvv visa. My wife and I married in the Netherlands and we have a Dutch marriage certificate. Does this need an apostille for obtaining mvv at the Dutch Consulate General in Bangalore, India? Thank you.

Hi Alex . Better get it apostilled. Because you are using the document outside Netherlands although it ‘s Dutch Embassy but you need it anyways for other purposes there in India like updating your status that you are now married. @liezinholland2671 did you have to wash your hair before the procedure. Instructions do not say you have to wash before. Some other tutorials say you have to. I did it once and I washed my hair first, before the procedure. Now I want to do it again, but I am thinking if I can skip washing at the beginning part this time. Thanks
