My favorite rendition of “Let it Be.” The Temps performed this on the Flip Wilson Show. Also, make sure to watch the skit from this very episode.

As far as I'm concerned, not even I know like without looking it up how to find comments so I trust this. To keep it simple, My girlfriend is the most important person to me. She may as well be everything to me. She has many demons, some of which have plagued her her whole life while others came to be because of someone that wronged her. This has never really put me off. I try and help however I can. She is the one person I can't blame for complaining about some of the things she does complain about, not only because I love her but because she is the only person I feel it is justified in, given the severity of her state and the problems themselves at times. I really try and help, but never quite found the best way to. Quickly found advice was naturally not the best course of actions in times when she was shaken up. Some people just want to be heard, to vent. Yet, after hearing her out time after time, though I understood it was mostly everything I could do, it didn't feel right. It didn't feel like I was helping. Sure, I wouldn't stay radio silent, but you can only say "I'm so sorry" or small, albeit true reassurances so many times. Even more elaborate things or ideas are some you only have so many of. I ached, knowing I couldnt say much to help her, and she ached harder, actually going through a pain which she knows can't be remedied. Long did it plague me, and even longer did her problems plague her. However today, after many, many months of trying to figure it out, slowly making progress, I made a small breakthrough. Not an end to her pain, but a change in perspective. A new outlook on how to go about this. A way to still be with her, almost as if giving her a hug, even if we're just texting or calling. It's something so simple, yet I can't quite boil it down to an action, nor a sentiment or idea. Simply a new approach. But I found it. I don't know how many times or in how many ways I'll be able to express it, but if only for today, I found a bit of light; a better way to help her. It's silly and kinda small, but it felt so, so big, I just had to come to this video.

If only they would do a documentary on Flip Wilson. This dude is hilarious yet so Underrated as a comedian of that era. I enjoyed watching him as a kid. He would always have my whole family laughing their hearts out.

Now this is what I call talent.. Eddie sounds exactly like his studio recordings, the 70s were a great time for R&B music and Eddie was one of my top 5 favorite R&B singers with the Tempts and his Solo career.. we were blessed with his presence, also gotta give props to the band, they were killing it.

Loved them all! Classic Five WAS GREAT 'together'. Five Part Harmony is what made them Heads above The Rest. Harmonious background missing. Otis was right..Not One person made that group famous..It was all of them together. All struggled without each other.
