any more updates :) ? plannin on b6 also, beside the subframe at front and mounts, what you needed to do more that make it fit ? Did the 6speed oem b6 gearbox fit directly ?

Hey launch built. I got something crazy for u. What do u think of a b6 k swapped? I found a place that makes a billet bracket to mount k24 to the 01A 5spd or 01e 6spd bolt pattern . ive owned s4 b6 that dropped a valve, this about 12 yrs ago prior to deep diving and become a true car enthusiast that works on his own shh.. ive had auto a4 1.8t b6 to b6 1.8t s line/ultrasport which got impounded and i never got around to getting it back cuz it did have some hidden damage so i didnt really care to.. then about 4 yrs picked up another 1.8t b6.. saved this one from going to scrap. It was too clean with lots of quality parts to let the previous owner send off to get wrecked. I just wana do something different.. the b6 community has too many k04 and big turbo builds.. even vr6 swaps etc. A honda swap with standalone is something i been considering and plenty of readily available parts to upgrade

@LaunchBuilt yeh ive not seen any b6 k swapped.. but have seen someone do it on a b7 and it sounds as u wud expect to hear from a honda.. audis get expensive trying to build. I think a budget k swap can make 600hp. Im looking to do it next year hopefully.. tryna do something different similar to your 07k build

1. You are an idiot. 2. flutter = the sound of a turbo being destroyed. 3. you are overspooling the shit out of that turbo = heat. 4.petrol of 93/95 octane is good for 1Bar boost . get it up to 100octane or more , crank up the boost and advance the timing more on the tune. 5 get it to breath propperly.

Stock 2.0t rods and pistons fit in the 07k good for 600whp if you do head studs and ttrs headgasket too

What are the grey rings on the valve cover? Obviously, for the upgraded coil packs, but was that cut and re-weld, or these something you can buy?

The coil covers are oem removable black plastic that a painted Nardo Grey with EraPaints

Im not being a dick but like you do alot of janky stuff and hack things. If your gonna build Junk why not just do a rat rod? Sure it worked but alot of half ass setups work. Doesnt mean its the right way. If your gonna do all this wasted time and effort can I ask you, why don’t you just go to community college for welding and mechanics and stop the hack shit? Like you could have just built a twin turbo manifold instead of this tin can shit box your cobbling together. You can indeed twin turbo a 4 cylinder and it’s as if you do things the hardest way possibly and the worst way. Thats my advice and not hating at all and purely conservative. All Im saying is stop taking pride in hacking and maybe just go to school and learn a better way.
