My guy I’ve been watching the channel n big ups for continuing to upload. The t4 flanged you welded to the heat shield around and not the actual exhaust. Exhaust pressure will pass back thru the heat shield, therefore probably never spool. You need to cut the heat shield from around the actual exhaust then weld your t4 flange.

Props for progress! But bro, you welded the flange to the outer shell. It's just a heat shield. It will leak. If not right away then it will develop a leak eventually. You're supposed to cut/peel the outer shell out of the way, weld the flange to the inner tube (that's where exhaust flows). And then you can lay the shell back onto it, tack weld w/e. Hope you address it before putting everything together, cuz it's gonna have to come out again.

I imagine u could add a runner to a 1.8 manifold and cut off the 5 cylinder mount plate or a manifold for a corrado but idk

spa turbo have parts for the motor and there is a company that build the mounts but for b5. think it should work for a b6. think this is the best motor for the b5 b6 b7. easier to do than the vr6.
