Hi Phillip thanks for the vid, I was wondering one thing. I just submitted my first order and under step 2: Package it says the following: "On Page 1 of all submission forms, type or write the total number of orders & the total number of items in the package.". Can I just write this on the bottom of the first page (the PSA copy 1)? I noticed that on older forms there was still an option to fill this in but not on the form I have so that is confusing me a bit.. Thanks in advance!

I completely agree with you, Greninja is looking like the true first chase from S&V. It's a very cool card, but unfortunately like you said, I'm also skipping on it and this set for now. Maybe later in a year or so we'll see where it settles.

If I could give one bit of Pokémon buying advice it would be to never buy tins. They are harder to store. Its harder to understand what packs are included when they are older and have the worst hit rates. Leave them for children.

My favorite card has to be the Charizard VSTAR from the VSTAR Universe pack-plus, it's the first VSTAR card I ever pulled! The best thing happened to me was I started Pokémon card collection which again have been a long term dream/goal sorts of mine. As a new collector who has loved Pokémon since I was a kid, I’m finding my way around the Pokémon TCG world, and being from India where Pokémon cards aren't easily available it's been very tough, but your page has been super helpful. As a huge Charizard fan, and remembering your wise advice that Charizard cards always win, I'm sticking with the Charizard VSTAR from the VSTAR Universe set from SW/SH as my top pick. Thanks a ton for all your guidance!🤩💪

When it comes to investing or collecting, 99% will eventually become not as valuable. A long term collector needs to stay focused on the 1% best and most iconic items related to that hobby . The problem with Pokémon for your pocket is it combines investing with collecting and opening. Some times these play against each other so you can not do one in the correct manner. The best investors should never open any product, but then that would be boring. A successful person needs to plan and have discipline based on what they can afford.

Twilight masquerade is defiantly the best core set release in Scarlet and some time. In my opinon it is better than Silver tempest or lost origin but doesn't outshine Brilliant stars and Fusion Strike, so it is right in the middle. The mask gimmick is the only thing i didn't like. Trainers, Ir and alt arts are all great . 8.5/10 Set overall

Psa 8 & 9 for vintage is king, clean old cards for cheap

I think a lot of the reason for people liking the greninja is because of the texture on it hard to see it from picture, but amazing in person

Just recently got back into collecting & pulled the Pinsir art rare from a twilight masquerade pack. Have to say the art on it is absolutely stunning & the beautiful design, alongside it being the first hit I pulled after getting back into collecting is reason why it’s my favourite card under $20.

How do you feel about Paradox Rift ETBs as an investment given that it doesn’t really have a poignant chase card like a Greninja EX or Giratina V?

I don't get the hype for that card. Its like a super colorful tube of toothpaste exploded. I think this card will be outclassed by later releases. Also I think the Greninja promo coming out is MUCH better than this card but sadly will be too easy to get.

I love this take and the analysis is great man! I really think this set is honestly a sleeper, with multiple solid pulls and hard pull rates I think in a year people will want to go back to this set and open more for the heavy hitters. And above all, it’s the first major publicity set of scarlet and violet. How much have we talked about it and it’s only been a few weeks of release? I can’t remember another set other than maybe 151 that was this talked about, whether good or bad. Can’t wait for the next video 👍

This Graninja came out at a time where the market manipulation is at an all time high. It is already dropping fast and I feel will be a $75 card if not $60 like when the dust settles in 6 months. Magikarp will maintain its spot atop Scarlet & Violet as the big chase IMO

I really liked the illustration rares in TM, but I'm keen to wait on this. It just feels similar to the hype that built around obsidian flames SIR Charizard that's now sitting at a much more affordable price.

I think it would be great if you could occasionally add videos about older Pokemon products. This could bring some fresh perspectives and might also attract more attention to your channel. I've been saying the same thing, to a degree. I think that it is indeed the most spectacular S&V release (although it's not my personal favourite, I do rate it). But where I'm a little divergent from you is that I see the whole PTCG cooling off so hard this gen... cooling to the point of cold. The hype of the pandemic years, fuelled by nostalgia has long gone. The change to holo+2reverses in every pack had a psychological effect too. Heck, even the Yellow borders being retired might have had a subtle impact on how people feel about the cards. So I'm not sure that ANY card at the moment, no matter how good, is going to create that FOMO hype that we have seen in the recent past. Am watching the situation with interest as it develops.

I pulled 2. 1 was wayyy off center but not bad enough for a “OC” grade, and the other was MINT! I sold the off center one for $120, which I was very happy with and I sold the mint one @$190 and honestly couldn’t be happier because I don’t see it going above $190 for a long time ahead. Pretty sure that’s peak value out of it for at least the next year.

Definately on the same level as blaziken vmax and gengar vmax

My son pulled this Greninja out of a single sleeved booster pack! It’s beautiful in person!

I don't think this card will do bad, but I also think the price isn't going to go up. We're getting a Greninja promo card in Shrouded Fable that arguably looks better. It also doesn't help that the rest of the set is kind of lackluster.

Much like the Giratina, this is one ugly arse card. Twilight masquerade is surprising the heck out of me; definitely one of the weaker SV sets, but what I think doesn't matter - a lot of people seem to love this set 🤷‍♂️.

This set feels a bit like the Chilling Reign of the SV era. It might not be everyone's favourite now but it could pop off in the future. I'm personally not a huge fan of the Greninja but i do see the appeal. Twilight Masquerade has the best trainer SIRs so far and i reckon the Eevee IR could become one of the chases alongside the Magikarp.

Hey Phillip! Evo Skies ETB is scaling BETTER than the booster box bc of price entry point imo. I bought an Evo Skies ETB last year, and the ETB nearly has a 90% growth vs 75% growth of the Booster Box. Great content as always 😎

I think most of the IRs and SIRs in twilight are kind of boring. The Chancey, Eevee, and Greninja are the looking ones.
