How much was the OEM drive shaft? I'm at the crossroads of going "Hongda" or OEM.

$85 but I had to shop around to find the cheapest one. Both OEM and aftermarket were up to $160

I think they put it on LPG and thought they didn't need to change the fuel filter. They had it at their regular mechanic who obviously didn't change the fuel filter 🤔 That's why I do my own work on my machinery. It was a 14mm on the line. Use a line spanner and they didn't come away easy I used a Stanley shifter to hold the filter, I believe it's a 19mm. Hope this helps someone 🙂

Actually, if you turn it clockwise you pull it in, if you undo it anticlockwise it expands the thing and tightens / expands it. Best way is to set it and test it by pulling the thing apart which means unbolt the calipers etc etc. You have to pre load or set the Tappet length. Key is making sure the pin sits between the banksia arm and the bottom part of the tappet. That screw thing never works to adjust the thing properly.

Disclaimer, this hack worked great but only modify something if you are confident of using it with understanding of what's happening. The auto weighs around 50-60kg if it falls it can break bones easily, you don't want to be under a car trapped with broken bones. So if you are not confident in doing this don't, get a professional to do it. The hard wood was 150mm by 230mm and the palings are 100mm by 200mm. This enabled the jack too be fully lowered and still miss the jack body by 2mm. Hope this helps 👍

I was surprised how hard it was too get out. this only works with the auto out I don't think there would be enough room with the auto in the car. But remember safety you don't have to lift the auto high just enough to make it swing and don't put fingers underneath it. It may let go a crush your your finger or hand. Also don't over tighten the vice more then needed, as it may warp that cover and damage the casing of the auto.

This car's previous owner was talked into disconnecting the original factory "radiator cooler" and installing an external cooler that was not a good installation and leaked transmission fluid until the car stopped. I brought the car and done a service on the transmission. Couldn't get the damaged plug out so this was the best way to feed the transmission fluid into the auto. If you have the original factory intercooler (in the radiator) you can feed the fluid into the top connection "of the radiator" and it's easier to gravity feed to the return. Hope this video and info helps if you have any questions just ask 🙂

With the original part I didn't get the pins or clips, no complaints, but keep those parts. Also if you have a great Honda commercial mower. I don't recommend putting cheap Chinese parts on it. I don't know there quality but there's Chinese made parts on the net less then 1/5th of the genuine part you can buy from a dealer. And I'm not knocking the Chinese all my household appliances are Chinese 😂 But If you have Japanese or German made equipment with a proven history of reliability then putting cheap parts in it only makes it cheap. A chain is only as strong as strong as it's weakest link. Japanese and German steel is sort after by people that know and rely on there quality and that has always been the case in my lifetime. Hope this video and info helps someone somewhere 🙂

Spur of the moment video. I'm working on an AU Falcon 1 ton ute. It's a 3 seater so the handbrake is on the RHS of the drivers seat and it pulled all the way up with no handbrake. I checked on here and couldn't find any video on this very important part of a 1 ton ute. If anyone has any questions don't hesitate to ask. Also if you are not confident working on breaks, on any vehicle, then take it to a professional. The breaks are the most important part of any car and failure to do the job properly could result in the death or injury of yourself or others!

Someone close to me had a problem with their fuel sender on a Ford Territory. The fuel gauge was fluctuating. She took it to a mechanic and well over $700 and a whole day she got the car back. Women, unfortunately, get exploited by mechanics so on the spur of the moment I made this quick video to explain the fuel gauge and fuel sensor. It's my first video on here but I hope someone learns something from it. Cheers. PS, Always disconnect the battery when working on the fuel tank.
