imagine spending 3k USD on licenses years ago, and just now seeing this video 10 days after it's too late... oof.. that's me. what am i going to do with crappy ambient license. No way i ever get my money's worth out of that. What has the refund rate been like anyways? 100 dollar refund on 3,000 order?

Sorry, I was on vacation. They upgraded the remaining licenses to Ambient. You can use them with sensors to earn rewards in the new project. These new licenses will be forever, no need to buy new ones once every 1-3 years

Thanks Chris. I just had to enable pop ups on my Google chrome browser. Then it worked great. 3 type 1 licenses for $900 USD. Hopefully I see something when the migration happens.

I didnt really understand the refund/convertion thing... Let's say I get a refund of X-amount of planets equal to what my license was worth on 15 July. Am I now free to do whatever with these planets, e.g. sell them right away, and someday expect some drop of Ambient tokens? Or I have to keep the planets in my wallet and on the day of conversion I get X/40 amount of ambient tokens and they replace my current stash of planets?

Help, I get the following error after connecting to the wallet and confirming the wallet. "Your WalletConnect request failed withe the following error: The wallet does not support the request operation. Please try again by going back to the dApp where you initiated the request" I check that I was using the latest version of the Pera Algo Wallet.

Yes, that was what PlanetWatch told us. But PlanetWatch failed and Ambient is trying to pick where PW left of and try to make it work. Let's see what deal they can give us and how much sense will it make in terms of ROI. Like Luca said in the interview, they need to provide us a sense of ROI so we can make the best decisions for us

@@ChrisCryptoCoffee They'll also have to take into account that most of us are still ROI'ing all of our PW-era sensors, I for one won't be buying 18 new cartridges for my 9 Kaiterras that were supposed to be replaced free of charge for well over 18 months now. Not until i'm really certain that Ambient's future and ROI holds for more than just a few months. Nor will I be refreshing any of my Airqino's until TEA get their act together, last time I sent in an Airqino and a Turtle I didn't see them again for 7 months... not to mention #freethe23

@@Sleinous yup! One of the things that I appreciated about Luca was that he actually addressed this in the interview. H acknowledge that the team will have to provide value to the token and gain our trust before requesting things from the community. Exactly like you said, he said it also: any offer needs to be seen from an ROI pov so we can decide if they are good deals or not and what to do

I bought Awairs that I ended up reselling on eBay when they went down the tubes. I have two AtomoTubes of which only one is hooked up because the old phone on one died and I'm not buying another phone to hook it up to until there is some real $$ back into the tokens. I sorely regret buying a Turtle outdoor sensor for $450 ugh!

Most of us were delirious, and yes greedy, thinking we would get rich off of these air sensors. Yes, I made thousands in the early months, but spent all of it and more buying more sensors, including the really expensive ones. How much is the data from each sensor really worth? I would guess it’s just pennies.

I think what Luca told us is quite reasonable. They need to launch the token and give it value so we can better understand where we are in terms of ROI, maintenance, etc. Untile then, anything is just speculation

I lost like 15k from the old ownership. They did us dirty by allowing Florida and other to use cash instead of the token. Looks like the new team is interested in the community. Looking forward to positive light from this deep black hole. Yeah I'm still paying that off 3 years later.

The refund will count for the Ambient token claim. There is where we should expect some value from this refund. Like I said from the video, the Planets we get are nothing in value

Sometimes, it takes awhile before the map updates, so maybe check it again in a few hours.

Like the other reply said, it takes a day for the map to update. But you should get the total tokens when you submit the measurement. Also you can see the stats in your profile (hexes covered)

The refunds will be in Planets and we don't know the exact date of the refund. My guess is after 4ht fo October as that is the deadline to request it

Clearly a haricut move once again. But as I said in my first video regarding the transition, this was to be expected. At least they gave us something unlike PW:Forest, PW:Credit which are 0 and no compensation on them... Let's see and hope that we will get some value out of this refund on the Ambient side
