Hi Mike, I built my fly pens after the way yours are designed and all I did was put the antenna on top of a 3/4 " piece of plywood and have not had any problems with scanning. I think the instructions that came with my antenna said to not put it directly on the wire and to put some plywood on the wire then the antenna. Hope this helps.

I have a big problem with the hawks here I never seen so many of them. Mike I had the same problem with my antenna not clocking birds I had to make a wooden platform under it I had to remove almost all the iron wire under the antenna I just got some wooden slat 1/1/2 pressure treated strips even the screws I use are none magnetic SS ones that stop all the problems. Take care . I will put up a video of the platform for you on my channel for you to see what I had to do to get a correct antenna reading .

So glad you and your birds made it through the hurricane safely!! Those nasty hawks are hard to deal with. Had a migratory hawk do some damage, but the flock has their strategy to outmaneuver predators. Well trained beautiful birds!🕊️🕊️🕊️

I'd like to see it work. I tried this with a single 6" drain pipe and caps...and it will only flow IF I move the standpipe a bit. If it's sitting still, no water comes out.

I would also start at their feed, specially if using the same supplier. Get their food tested would be the first step.

Congatz Mike, love your content. As for the loses, there are to many which could only mean one thing and that is there pigeons aren't we'll. Seen this happen way to many times while racing myself. Even stupid pigeons come home from first race. I would ask your fellow fanciers to get a vet to check them out because what ever it is the owners don't know what it could be. If they all except this as a possibility they could maybe get a discount from their vet as a group check over.

Hey Mike. Is your pad directly on the wire? I had the same problem. Try putting a piece of rubber between your pad and the wire. It helped mine Great drop.
