It’s pretty secure with the largest opening being about 1/2” after I close up at night. Thanks for asking ✌️

I use chicken layer pellets 16% protein and I mix that 50% with whole corn. I am lucky because both of those are produced locally by Orangeburg milling company.

I personally haven’t seen any difference. They take turns with highest speeds. Just depends on who is feeling it on a certain day!
