Great video. I have got over 10 days with my Wisblock on a 3500mAh 18650 battery.

I'm having a problem with mine. The units for X and Y are too big. Meaning if I'm 1.5 inches high and 1.5 inches left at 50 yards, and I adjust 1 "click" left and 1 up, my next shot will be 1.5 inches low and 1.5 inches right. And it's repeatable over and over. How do I fine tune this?

Mesh tastic needs to be eltor or so send and receive voice messages if. Not? Why would I buy it text messaging this fine but a lot of times? What's messages also need to be included? It can't whyand why would I buy it if it only can do one and left the other?
@jmmorgenstern70055 күн бұрын
Mesh tastic cannot send voice messages or receive voice messages. Why? If it's built for real true off grid like you say. It should be able to receive voice and text messages. Both are essential. It can only receive one why would I buy it?

Thanks for the informative video... unfortunately the connector cable that came with my Aodelan WTR-2 is a phono to micro-b, not a phono to USB-c plug. I'm trying to connect it to my a6700 which has a USB-c connector. Wondering if anyone else has this problem... Update: ordered a replacement cable from Amazon, a USB-c to phono plug, assuming the phono plug was a standard size. The connector cable came today and the USB-c side fit perfectly but the phono plug was a 3.5mm which did not fit the 2.5mm phono plug on the Aodelan units!!! Now I need to get a 2.5mm phono to USB-c cable. Never EVER assume - always measure.

What magnification did you use for the final sample? I think you need 1000x to resolve bacteria, with an oil immersion lens and 10x eyepiece.

I'm more interested in getting a network set up among my existing friends and family, instead of texting random people who happen to have radios. Although I lucked out and found someone right down the street from me who I picked up and made a new friend.

My focus too is to get trusted neighbors into this and establish communications in power down scenarios. We are in Hawaii (Big Island rural) and power outages happen several times each year. Big storms can bring in bigger down times. So this can be a potential solution for us here. Most of us have small solar generators and/or gas/diesel generators for critical home power. But internet phones typically die within the first hour of a long outage. And we have older family (Kupuna) we need to keep an eye on or help when these things happen.

Client mode also works as a router, router should be used for nodes with the best antenna and height above terrain.
@adavies66969 күн бұрын
We need to emphasise router/repeater/router_client should be extremely limited in the network to edge nodes in advantageous positions. Too many are choosing router_client, and its limiting the distance and the communication in the mesh

Default pin for screenless devices is 123456. Recently some wisblocks have been shipped with it set to random pin. RAK is working on fixing this - they're copying a preconfigured firmware instead of unconfigured.
@mattreviewsit10 күн бұрын
Yeah I guess I got some of the ones with random pin set as default. Definitely would be more convenient if it was just set to fixed. Thanks for the heads up
@kaoticrecoil29 күн бұрын
Same. Luckily I ordered an oled. You can put the oled in the pin holes and shove your finger in between to hold tension and it'll display the pairing code...lol. I only had one oled and multiple boards, this worked with each.

Remember folks, you can always connect it via USB to your pc and reflash. I always do with new boards, as the firmware is always out of date

No, totally optional. It’s just if you want all the latest features. The one you bought might not have the latest firmware depending on how long it sat on the shelf

The auto-V LoZ is a great feature not only that it measures AC or DC automatically but it reads the true voltage, meaning no ghost voltages. In AC is great because, if the neutral or the hot is missing you know right away. It acts like the old analog voltmeters.

Thank you for showing us that the product actually does do a pretty good job of cleaning the water. It may not be perfect because it did have a little bit of debris as you said, but it killed all the bacteria and got all the contaminants out. The fact that something like that can, take all of that contaminate out and make it safe to drink is pretty impressive

Not a very informative review. No info at all about the quality of the board's play. No mention of the FIDE Elo level(s) it can play at or if it can mimic different styles of play or what time controls it can play at. What functions does it have? Can you set up positions for it to solve? Does it provide any analysis of games played? Does it record games and allow you to download them?
