Love the setup and the professionalism of the design and your work area. The devices look top notch. I'm definitley bookmarking this for when I get to that stage of Meshtastic. The batter life is my main concern and seeing the ability for it to have four batteries and that your one battery beta box never got below the upper 80%s on one battery is very encouraging. Thanks for putting these together. With my setup, this would likely need to be mounted to a backyard light post for the best ability for sun and coverage.

Hey Matt, solid product! Could you explain once more about how you have the solar controller connected to the WISBLOCK? I’m just trying to get a better understanding of how the board is utilizing power either from solar or battery. Thank you.
@Atlavox3 ай бұрын
The Wisblock draws power from the batteries. Any energy generated by the solar panel is used to charge the batteries. Hope that makes sense. You can also plug in USB power to power it that way or charge the batteries.
@tommyloe50083 ай бұрын

You can easily add GPS to the WISBLOCK. You can purchase the RAK 19500 GNSS GPS which uses the u-blox ZOE-M8Q module, supporting GLONASS, GPS, BeiDou, and QZSS satellite data protocols. You just mount the 19500 module onto an empty slot on the WisBlock board and mount the small included GPS antenna to a sky-facing interior surface of the solar case. Only takes a minute to install.
