I’m so glad they left the timer, the timer quite literally IS Dead Rising. If you don’t like the timer then put simply you don’t like Dead Rising, and that’s okay! Not every game is meant for everyone and if the timer really is that big of a turn off for you then this franchise is just not for you. Dead rising 4 is a perfect example of a game and developers trying to make Dead Rising appeal to everyone and in so doing it appealed to nobody. Long time players hated it and any new comers it may have pulled in were clearly not enough to offset that. IF they make a sequel or in an ideal world remake Dead Rising 2 next as well the timer has to be part of the CORE design document for Dead Rising you can’t remove it

I mean at this point you would expect a new character the second game had a new character. I didnt mind nick. This was the last good dead rising game. Then they just tanked the franchise. Ditching the time limits and escort missions kind of ruined it. Survivors were a key part of the game
