A 600 ain't much of a difference from a 1000 the 1000s is about 38 mph more than a 600 which is about 198 mph. That's not a big number difference. The only thing 1000s has more torque and HP.

2004 Base auto had it converted to type s for 5400 with trans and engine, spent another thousand on replacement parts it's a daily, it's just as reliable as any other Toyota car you soup up. It isn't bulletproof. I think my base Auto was more reliable but nowhere near as quick.

Is that the type s subframe? If so what’d you use for the front and rear mounts? About to get ready to drop a k24 into my 02 type s and it’s really the only thing holding me back from putting the engine in.

I’ve never rode a motorcycle in my life. About 5 days ago Aug 3rd 2024 I went and bought and 2024 Honda CBR600RR and learned how to drive it over the weekend. I know …Im an idiot but to my defense it didn’t make sense for me to buy a used 5k starter bike r3 or 400 and waste that money knowing I was going to have to upgrade as soon as I felt comfortable. All in all I love my new bike and soon I’ll take a riding course and perfect my riding . But yeah -2024 cbr600 is my first bike ever 😂😂 🤣🤣

hey bro i have a stock base model rsx 2006. it is automatic sadly but i was wondering if i should mod it. i was thinking about doing an engine swap or just buying a manual type s somewhere in the future.
@illusiversx
@illusiversx Ай бұрын
Manual swapping it definitely gives you options. Definitely isn't worth modifying a base model unless you just plan to put wheels and an exhaust on it. The k20a3 doesn't make much power with how much money you have to put into it.

Over the years, it has become increasingly clear that the criticism of the CR-Z was superficial and simply unfair. What is particularly interesting is that most critics never even test-drove the CR-Z but merely read off the data sheet to see what it technically offers. But that doesn't describe the driving experience. In fact, a more powerful engine would have been even better for the car, and that's the only drawback I see as justified. However, as it is, it's perfectly fine as long as you're not focused on power alone. Regardless of its performance, the CR-Z stands for driving pleasure and timeless design, and it fulfills both. It’s a model that doesn’t appeal to the masses but is rather niche, which only makes it more special, as are the drivers of this car, who do not follow the crowd and have realized that the crowd can sometimes be wrong. Additionally, the driving modes offer an interesting experience and make the CR-Z feel like three cars in one, as these modes make a significant difference in handling.

dad took me on rides on his 2006 cbr1000rr when i was like 5 years old to 10. just bought my first "street legal" bike a 2007 cbr600rr (ridden a 2016 crf 150 mostly and a 2020 crf250l for speed on highway and street and construction sites) love it so far other than the excessive engine braking i like to slow down via revmatch downshifting and front brake. have my permit test in 5 days ridden it around a bit and just need to tune in some gas when letting go of throttle for more comfy town riding. other than the excessive engine braking, small bike 6 foot 5, and dookie clutch im replacing this week its amazing. cant wait to hit over 100 mph. taking it slow but my ability to ride up to 80 mph id say is pretty uch high level intermediate. been practicing trail riding slow speed maneuvers etc since i was 10 years old on little 85s 125s etc. that 600 inline 4 zoom is NUTTY. since hes ridden my bike hes about to buy a 2025 cbr 1000rrr sp. cant wait to ride that eventually

I own a Del sol and a 4G prelude too , they are some of my favs cuz I don’t see many on the road .. I don’t see many CRZ either so I’ll add it to my collection lol

would you recommend buying this car? the options currently I find in my area are 2011-2012 models mostly in the manual configuration
@illusiversx
@illusiversx Ай бұрын
The 2011-2012 are great options and personally I haven't found them being that much "slower" than the 2013-2014. I have come to like the body style of the 1st gen more and more. Parts are also easier to find for it as they were the most produced.

It's not THE BEST starter bike has many people have mentioned. Really do your research and look up whether a 600 is right for you. (Height & power) I personally never had a problem with mine but I was able to have a lot of self control and respect the power of it early on. I hope you make a good choice and are able to have the best riding experience. Have a good one man🫡
