This is definitely a training incident, otherwise they would be spraying the base of the fire.

I just started practicing clutch wheelies, Im still in the very early stages (day 5) but they feel much more consistent than power wheelies. 1st gear feels better than 2nd too cause can be doing at lower speeds... I still barely get wheel up and it still scares me and I know I have wayyyy more I could go before looping it. But I have no crash/stunt cage on my gsxr 600 so looping would be really bad hence why I learn slow. But man wheelies are so addictive, and clutch wheelies (in 1st on a 600) come up so easy

I'm a big buy so I was only able to do a clutch wheelie. They are very fun and addictive

I saw one spraying several years ago doing the same thing. Couldn't help but think, "wow, that dude carries his balls in a wheelbarrow". ❗🤪👍

Wouldn't it be quicker and safer to spray the field lengthwise instead of across? He can't spray the edges anyway because of the lines. Dusting a field surrounded by high powerlines seems like an accident waiting to happen anyway.

My neighbor had his own spray plane & sprayed his crops for years. One year he had troubles with his plane & hired a helicopter to do some spraying. My Dad & I stopped to talk to him & watch the spraying. My Dad asked him if he was going to trade his plane for a helicopter. He said "Hell no did you see the size of the rotor shaft? It's the size of my thumb. You couldn't pay me to get in one of those". This was 30 years ago or more.

Hammerhead stall for fixed wing. Saw a pilot do that with a brand new AG-Cat back in the days of 600 HP radial engines. He’s pull straight up after a swath run, kick the rudder just as he was about stall (full hopper was 350 gallons and about 3,000 lbs), then dive into the next swath run from that. Ag pilots are the best! Seat of the pants all the way. Never seen it done rotary wing-this guy knows his machine!

It’s an ag turn. You pull collective and at the top you use left or right peddle. There fun

Looks like a “Drift Claim” just waiting to happen here. He’s putting on quite the airshow but is rather sloppy with the expensive chemicals and machine. Not impressed at all. Is he still alive? Still spraying?

Yes, you can load at each field site, but at the end of the day they are still way slower and less acres than a 502, 602 or 802. Smaller boom width and way slower air speed

If he had stalled the next thing would be a crash. I've seen them do this at every turn in the field. Also saw an AgCat do a hammerhead rudder turn at each end of the field. Grew up around cropdusters.

I saw a helo making turns like this once. He was spraying avocados next to my house; I was in my bedroom looking straight up out of the window. He was not more than 200’ up and I could see right into the cockpit. Crazy skills there!

Considerable time and effort was expended on washing the road, whilst the fire was merrily spreading to a bunch of cars, piles of scrap and junk, as well the vegetation on three sides of the fire building. Good thing they kept the road from burning down, though.
@tyw7205
@tyw7205 Жыл бұрын
It was a total loss anyways, no reason to put it out if everything is already on fire. Vegetation fires were kept to a minimum because of exposure protection lines. Not to mention that this is also in a rural part of the county, and it's pretty hard to get volunteers sometimes.
