Amity Fire Burn to Learn

Saturday morning Amity Fire District, along with several neighboring fire districts, conducted a fire training exercise west of town. Smoke might be visible throughout the day. We will be using water from a hydrant located near the intersection of Bellevue Hwy & Briedwell Rd. Because of the recent hydrant flushing done by Amity Public Works, we believe this won't stir up any sediment or discolor your water. If it does, please run your cold water until it's clear.
Due to the limited room onsite, spectators are not allowed to watch this training exercise. Thank you for your understanding.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this exercise boiled down to a lot of people standing around watching the building burn down? I did like the ack-ack at 10:14, though.

They were probably examinating how fire is spreading.

This is the house I grew up in. So weird to see it burn.
