Very nice cabin indeed sir. Well done. And yes, build a floating cabin.

Funny little fact: the females hold territory and go around and lay eggs with the males in the territory. And then she leaves and the dad does all of the raising. Jacanas are so cool fr

Rainbow lorikeets and red-collared lorikeets are not the same. Rainbow lorikeets are trichoglossus moluccanus and red-collared lorikeets are trichoglossus rubritorquis. They were once thought to be a subspecies of the rainbow lorikeet, but studies proved they are entirely separate species.

I'm in Deception bay and have seen the mistletoe bird in my yard eating mistletoe seeds. I recognise it's tweet and it's been visiting for the last two summers. So the parasitic mistletoe plant living in our native tree will stay and keep feeding our new little visitor.

They are absolutely beautiful. I wish people cared more about wild pigeons. There is one breed in Florida that is near extinction due to habitat destruction. We need to preserve them. They're not pests; they are part of a rich ecosystem.

Their long legs and claws were designed to walk and live in swamps. It's so sad that one day, swamps will become cities and these lovely birds are no more... :-( They're so adorable.

@Mike Grant I think you can reduce the amperage input to tune your generator max efficiency. I know the MultiPlus does it, I bought a Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A GX so I have a panel with a little dial to adjust incoming amperage!

Cross referencing this with DPIPWE, Frogs of Australia and iNaturalist. Are they 100% the same frog? or is there some kind of mistake and this is actually a banjo frog? I just found a frog today that looks exactly like this guy, and I wanna know if he is infact a banjo or some kind of froglet.
