What a great time of the year to be at Fogg Dam. A well disguised Freshie in there too. I didn't see any intermediate egrets in there; all little or great egrets as far as I can tell. There is a clear intermediate egret in your "Royal Spoonbill filmed at Fogg Dam Northern Territory. Australia" video at around 0:30. They can be difficult to tell apart until you have seen them all side by side and know what to look for. Bill colour changes with breeding, but look at where the gape of the mouth ends; in great egrets it extends well back behind the eye; in intermediates it ends below the eye. Also some other differences like length of the neck and plumage. Thanks for sharing your Top End videos; sights and sounds take me back there.
