You and I live vastly different lives here, it's pretty funny. I'm a nontraditional transfer student and live two hours from campus, but I'm trying to move closer. Sucks that A2 and Ypsi are surrounded by rural and forested land. Makes it hard to find a house that isn't expensive. You basically have to balance cost or time sacrifice. So to compensate, I sleep in my car 5 days a week in the junior lots. Don't tell anyone! 😆 Undergrad dorm life looks pretty cool. Makes me wish I came here when I was 18. Must be pretty awesome living the college life and having the center of A2 as your home. Oh, and EECS 203/280 can touch grass.

Why don't you read your essays?

North campus is really beautiful. North campus is "new" and high-tech beautiful and central campus is traditional college beautiful.

Hi! I have a question about the "Why Us" essay specifically for people like me who are applying for preferred admission. Do I need to include things about the first-year-level college(LSA) or can I go straight into talking about the preferred admission school( is the College of Pharmacy for me). Since technically when applying for preferred admission, I am still applying for LSA as well. I am a little bit confused on which college to write about.

I just recently got into Ross and was watching this for fun… We had the same SAT and same amount of aps and overall a very similar application! I even did canvassing but it was for a school board campaign. It’s just crazy watching this in hindsight after being so nervous for my decision!

College Admissions are pretty toxic and I really don't like that in one of the essays it was basically encouraging the candidate to get involved in identity politics (it actually called out things like race). Extremely toxic and is harmful to the United States political climate.

I've seen students who have one skill set, which is scoring high on exams and getting A's in AP courses. So, I understand why institutions look at students holistically.
