Thanks for the video Yeah l have been collecting for quite a fww years now and there have been fakers forever but not to this extent. l have basically stopped buying anything Third Reich because all the militaria shows and online l have more respect for someone who sells this stuff and says reproduction or modern day made but the money as is always the case sellers trying to sell it off as "original" "rare" "scarce" or back in early eBay days as "Stalingrad find" 🙄 As l said l have gotten "burned" before l mean who hasn't?? l did and doing my due diligence in research and listening to others in the hobby, when l try to "call something out" at a show or what not l was told to "mind my own buainess," "that's my opinion," "go f*** myself" etc. So l stopped doing that l just now put down the item and "walk away" laughing and if a novice buyer "see's that" hopefully they'll stop and "second guess" But in the end the market dictates that there are high prices and guys willing to pay dinero for them. Fakers know this and getting in mn on their scams. Just beware and do reaearch on whatever interest you. As l said l hardly buy any items anymore because of these rogue greedy "Daffy Duck's"

I know you're not there to stir shit, and I commend you on your handling of grumpy old bastards who more often than not really need a good old fashioned asswhipping, but should you ever want to create a highlight reel of "Salty Sams!" as a writer of comedy for more than three decades I volunteer my services to ridicule these crusty old farts like they deserve. Again, I know you're not there for it, but I really get a kick out of it when it happens. And the calmer you remain, and recite the rules, the funnier their behavior seems to get! And saying "I believe it." Was a great way of not agreeing with them, but letting him know you heard him. I also write comedy songs and have a great idea for one called "The Ballad of Salty Sam! 😂😂😂

I despise actual racism, antisemitism, and most isms in general but that Brian guy self-righteously kicking out that BOY (take a good look at him, he's a 16 or 17 year old boy) dressed in an SS uniform pissed me off. First of all, in the US we have a Constitutional right to wear anything we want. Its NOT illegal. But at a Military collectibles show where the uniform would be a welcomed addition and enjoyed by any and all were in on a mannequin, seems a tad bit hypocritical and a whole lot ridiculous! More importantly, it was the shaming, and chiding that went too far as Brian attempted to impress all within earshot that bothered me most. Again, thats a kid, if he’s 18 I’d be surprised, excited about History and showing off a military uniform at a military uniform show. In many ways its like kicking a kid out of a Halloween party for being dressed like the devil. But the histrionics could've been easily avoided had he simply begun with an apology, like "Sorry folks, we can't have visitors wearing uniforms in the facility..." But the self righteousness involved (honestly, it felt like he was desperately attempting to impress the black gentleman who stood to his right looking somewhat like a Fed) as Brian needlessly began shaming.. I don't know about the father, if thats who he was, who frankly handled it far more professionally than the actual officials, but the bald guy with him was wearing a far more insulting shirt, and what looked like Aryan tats, so theres no telling what their motivation letting the kid come there dressed like a nazi. Probably not the best? But I think the way it was handled, and the restrictions put on by the facility, and again,ridiculously enforced leave them open to a possible 1st Amendment lawsuit. You can scoff if you like, and you can say its in "bad taste," and ultimately I'd agree, but it wasn't in and of itself disruptive. The kid wasn't exhibiting any obnoxious behavior (goose-stepping around, or yelling "SIEG HEIL!" etc.) so theres really no good reason (not a legal one, anyway) to lower the boom like that. Frankly, I’m surprise the show even still exist given city, state, and federal governments’ willingness to kowtow to leftist extremists groups. Speaking of which, I'm surprised there aren't protestors inside the show splattering uniforms and flags with red paint, while wearing their equally “offensive” hammer & sickle, and red star communist paraphernalia. You don't have to be Nostradamus to see that coming just around the bend. Honestly, though, the uniform and handling of it aside, THE most insulting part for me was the overwhelming tonnage of obvious FAKES throughout this show! And don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against a good fake clearly marked, but these are just BAD, obvious, and worse OVERPRICED! Regardless, its possible he didn't notice the "man" and just saw the uniform, and following his instructions, but I see more here than meets the eye. Like they were offended by the bald Aryan dude and decided to try and run them all off using the uniform. Sorry to go on, I enjoy your videos, and hope they continue but I wouldn't become dependent on them as an income stream. Sooner or later, whether its the shows, the vendors, or KZbin itself, will put an end to it. Meanwhile, thanks for the effort. Sincerely.
