toby technical note..you apply a stone veneer not laminate it lol thats gluing several pieces to make a single component likee a beam or plywood. thanks for the vid and i still think that wall needs a roof overhang and at least an 10 foot deep patio slab in front of it unser the overhang...but thats me

too much head? height of pump above surface of water,,,possibly too much height above the pump for it to flow because of the weight of the column of water above it its not rocket science but there is knowledge to be gained preferably before you size your pump and pay for it lol... thanks for the vids one way valve top and bottom will help with prime shutoff top and bottom as well will be of use ....shutoff for each fixture as well as the fixture itself will save you adult language in the future.ps mischief dosnt like it when visto intrudes it makes him patrol his territory for intruders

We managed to get it all to work. Theory done ✅ Practice done ✅ we have lift off. But we will refine and implement your suggestions. We specked the little 12V pump in advance and it a powerful beggar !

@@BuenavistaRuralClub i suspect its working at its hardest to push that much weight 120v submersible well pump would be my choice but you dont have 120 . there is a non electrical valve pump but i dont think it fits your application as it requires flow and wastes water , as it is said if it works it aint stupid ;]...im still thinking there is a better way to clear that ground cover and cane and with money i would say its easy the siclebar mower on the tractor isnt the way thats for level ground a brush hog is what i would use but the wire is troubling so a heavy duty rotating disk with short pivoting blades on the tractor would be my invention as long as there was a wire cutting feature built into the disk to protect its drive shaft ...have fun

@@BuenavistaRuralClub it is not super complex stuff but as said there is knowledge required to size things .but the reason we had an industrial revolution and made mr nukerman a wealthy person was pumping wter over 21 feet high was almost impossible . its dense stuff lift a gallon at arms length and hold it lol ,where i grew up we were on well water with submersible electric pumps stainless steel torpedoes but your offgrid system will need to supply 220v as i am unaware of any with lower voltage ratings. another factor is pipe size bigger pipe less pressure to move the water in it for the same volume out it may be the hose needs to be a 3 inch firehose to drop the pressure enough for the pump to deliver....also pomp style...vein impeller or gear want high pressure get a gear pump..car oil pumpsvein pumps are usually rubber blades that seal to the housing...high pressure causes the rubber to not seal. have fun with it find a plumber and bring a case of cervesa's or a bottle of wine if thats more in style there.

Hola Toby. Suerte Daniel

Was there few weeks ago. Know only few locations like Fasnia, Guimar, Adeje, Arico.,.Still not sure how to solve water fór plants....Can I meet you there to help each other if you are open to that. I am builder, also know how to operate excavators, and lot of stuff...I will of course need help with some questions about local Fincas and water solution. Please let me know If you willing to exchange few words. Hang on and write even a no

Hello Petrus. Where are you from ? I am very pleased to talk with you. I cannot promise to be able to help you but I can try. These places you mention are in the South of Tenerife which is a desert, not like our green North. Water will always be an expensive problem there. It is expensive everywhere : we are an Island with no rivers. Water is like gold. Please try to WhatsApp me +34 699124330 and I can chat with you. Thank you.

The reason for two pillars is so that there is a RSJ connecting the two in case the wall collapsed to hold up the roof. I think it unlikely. However the internal pillar on the external pillar didn't line up as I had imagined. Thank goodness we weren't building a tunnel😂😂😂

lol learning the art of a profession takes lots of observation and then experience. i cant say you are doing it rong for multiple reasons primarily its your pocketbook! but also its rude if i may suggest though there are more efficient methods. dont forget to level between the block as that is more important than the individual blocks orientation. save effort its masonary work not finish work ....pour a bed of mortar place the block into it throw a lump on the end "butter it" and slap the next block in line until your corse is done then level the lot not one at a time ..... and if its the esthetics run a trowel over the squeeze out but less fussy more messy lol . thanks for the videos,,,, that filter is disturbing ever done acid lol

I first thought of using blocks to shutter or form the concrete when I was doing the ring beams on the roof. Also the column, outside, is probably way over spec but I don’t think it’s going to move any time soon. I listened to lots of advice and lots of opinions before taking this step. Having embarked upon the plan its full steam ahead. It’s a massive project for me. Next to go in will be a ring beam around the 3 walls of the barn. Hopefully that lot will hold it up for the next 100 years ! Thanks for your continued support and advice. I am truly grateful.

@@BuenavistaRuralClub just passing on things i have seen or done in the past. it is something i have seen from many uploaders doing renovation they focus on the looks when just pour it on and make it pretty after is actually the easier way i spent a lot of time on construction sites growing up and allways enjoyed it when people would let me help and show me how. ring beam will be easy just some form work and rebar then a lot of mixing and toteing lol unfortunately modern concrete dosnt have the longevity of of the roman stuff but 100 years should be close.
