I feel like that’s all a shoe needs as far as reviews go haha. For most people that could last 6 months to a year as your only shoe and you would be fine lol. That’s being said… it’s been fun running in new shoes this week 😬

ayyy! KZbin works in mysterious ways! I probably have to be more consistent so that my videos get suggested to you more. If you want cloud eclipse gotta get them now man, just went on sale and will be effectively replaced with Cloud Surfer Max mid-July and $180. Maybe go Peg Prem now and Cloud surfer max mid-year? haha

Dude! 60 miles per week is huge! Especially if you’ve been a 30-40mpw guy. That’s definitely an accomplishment worth celebrating. And with more of a focus on protein intake and strength/gym work, even if it’s just once a week, your body should be able to handle that weekly workload and continue to adapt and improve. Best of luck to you going forward!

Ay! Really appreciate such a positive comment 🙌🏻! If the nutrition and strength training can allow me to continue pushing (tiny bits at a time) I’m very excited about the progress I could make this year 🤘🏻

considering this marathon in march, do you recommend this one worth travelling to from a long distance?
@KyleMcCueRunningАй бұрын
It’s pretty great, just a mile on roads and then it’s all rail trail so pretty straight and flat. In terms of scenic races though it’s pretty much trees and greenery the whole way, which is awesome, but not sure it’s worth traveling a bit for. I’d drive a couple hours for it, sure

Thanks for the video update Kyle. Congrats on the 52 mile week and rocking some faster finish long runs / other daily runs. And sorry about the paw, glad you can still run. If you get to some 60 miles easy and then layer speed work after that I think you’re going to be beast mode going into your next race. Vroom vroom

Couldn’t agree more - you gotta find what works best for you! I love doing lots of hills and worrying more about effort than pace. The hills don’t beat my body up as much as speedwork but I get faster anyway!

Ive had this shoe for about a month now. As far as fit, I've found it to be very roomy in the toe box. Much more so than what I'm used to with my previous Mach 6 and it took some time to get used to. They also need a break in period. They are much more comfortable now than the first few days I wore them.

I just took a spill directly on my elbow and split it wide open. "Jumping over a metal chain or running?" you ask. Nope! Trying to film my daughter while roller skating at her 7th birthday! HAHAHA I hope you bounce back quick from this one. Take that physical therapy seriously so you don't lose mobility in that wrist.

Why can’t one run with a wrist fracture?
@KyleMcCueRunning3 ай бұрын
I was told by the first doctor to wait 6 weeks before running but now it could be muscle damage so if that ends up being the case I can run, but if it’s torn to the point of needing surgery then it’s kinda all messed up haha.
@RunnerdJK3 ай бұрын
@ Sounds like CYA overly cautious advice. A wrist injury doesn’t seem like it should pose a problem for running. I’ve never had a wrist fracture but I’d probably disregard the doctor and run anyway! Keep the momentum going!

Most instructional. What is the clamp diameter? I'm hoping to add this to my roadie near the stem on the road bars where I spend a lot of time. Possible problem: the 'bars are 31.8mm; the clamp on either/both AXS pods in this vid looks suspiciously smaller than this.

Thank you for this. I only wanted to buy the reshoevn8r for the brush and brush soap for pre cleaning the shoes, but I don't want to spend extra for the washer half of the process from them such as their pod detergent and wash bag as that type of stuff Im sure can do just as good and just as cheap somewhere else.

My 1st time wearing these shoes I did a 10k and ended up with what I believe is turf toe (Symptom big toe feels sore and like it’s jammed although it’s not). I now have to take the following week off. Never had this issue before running my weekly 10k in my adidas Boston 12. I hope it gets better after being broke in.

Hey Kyle good run! Do you think if I’m doing 13 to 16 mile long run and staying average heart rate of 148-153 is too high or is staying around 150 heart rate good for long run aerobic wise? My Garmin says I mostly stay zone 3 green you think that’s fine for building aerobic power?
@KyleMcCueRunning4 ай бұрын
So I base my aerobic threshold on MAF, which is 180 minus your age. For me that’s 148 BPM. That hr also feels right as a zone 2 so I trust it as a guide. My Garmin gives me a much larger window of hr for zone 2, so I like to just stick around high 140’s to mid 150’s. I’m no expert, but hopefully that helps 🤘🏻
@SuperTreybo4 ай бұрын
Hey thanks Kyle my age is 39 so if I’m doing MAF that Means I should try not to go over 140-145 on long runs ?
